New g923 steering input not working

I just got the g923 for the ps5 and all the buttons and pedals are working besides the actual steering wheel. I have made sure everything is connected properly and it works in Assetto Corsa but not GT7. Any help?

This used to happen to me.....I would have to turn off my PS5 and restart it. Sometimes I had to do it 2 or 3 times
to get it to work. But someone told me to unplug my G923, wait a couple of minutes and plug it back in. That worked!
Hope this helps! I do have my G923 plugged into the front of my PS5 and have no problems.

I bet you’re using a Bluetooth headset… if so unplug the dongle and restart the PlayStation. The wheel will work but if you try and plug your headset in it will disconnect the steering again. It’s a PITA

This was my issue and it sucks just bought a steel series headset and it’s made my gaming worse
