I don't believe there is a '97 Z06.

Anyways on the Mustang, all I want is to drive a '93. That would be a nice starter, used car.

There "are" 2 different c5 Zo6's. 385hp VS. 405hp. GT2 had 2 97 Camaros, 3(2 96" 1 95') C4 Vettes so it could very well be possible. With the extra time GT4 could have well over 800 cars including multiple versions of the same car.

Each time I see new legit pictures of GT4, the more I (as well as others) want it. I think in Play magazine, Kazunori Yamauchi actually said during an interview "we are taking long to make this game, and we don't want to upset our fans about us taking this long. Of course, Polyphony Digital is "doing their thing," as hip-hop culture would say. For the most part, we came up with all these threads with considerations, ideas, wish lists, and all. But by fall (or winter... May never know), we'll be the judge of GT4. I'm sure it will still be as wholly accessible as anything else. Now if the penalty system can be toggled, it may sell more. If it CANNOT be toggled, it will just mean that Gran Turismo players will have to better their skills before playing GT4. Whenever a Wal-Mart, a Target, a Best Buy, or some other store has the game as a demo, I WANT IN! And if you like Gran Turismo 4 as well, you'd feel the same way.

12 Hours of Sebring:
TVR's came in 24th and 33rd overall and 12th and 16th for their class. Beaten by:
Morgan's
Ferrari's
and all but 4 911's in the race

Don't misunderstand me, I love TVR's. I just wish their raceing programs in America would improve.

I'm talking road cars not race cars, the T350C beat the crap out of a Murcielago, 911 GT3, M12 and a Zonda C12S and before the the Tuscan S was showing plenty of exotics up. The ALMS is not factory backed anyway, private teams generally don't do as well, but the TVR backed Speed 12's in the FIA GT racing are competitive.

Close, but not quite. Jim Hall is the father of the Chaparral who built, designed and raced them.

I never said Chaparral was created by a Mr Chapparal. I was stating that was the purpose of the company.

Okay, there are no Speeds 12's in any FIA GT, I guess you've never seen the FIA Privilege British GT that runs in the powertour have you.

It would be sooo cool if you where ble to re-paint the car like in GT2. You could experiment with those 80's sport cars and their racing colors. My favourite is still the Mazda 323 GT-X in racing color *sigh*. And all those used muscle cars! WOW!

That chopped polygon graphic is just so beautiful...

zoxxy- It has been stated by PD that they intend to bring racing modifications back in GT4, just on a few select cars. I miss that feature too, if that's what you were talking about.

Correct
1997 - only 1 Vette was offered
1998 - Convertible joined the lineup
1999 - "fixed roof coupe" was added. These cars had the same roof as the ZO6, only made for one year. Thes had the same drivetrain as the "standard" model.

man its annoying when people bring dead threads back to life.... :indiff: You shoulda PM'ed the guy.

dang what is this? a thread from last year? hmm interesting *sigh*
I suppose that 'interesting' is a good way to describe it. It seems that hacker-pschorr joined the forums on April 7, 2004, made two posts within 10 minutes of each other, and then mysteriously disappeared for almost one year.....conducting research on the Z06 perhaps?
