Well i did a search for GT visions and came up empty, so did a little look after you pointed out my mistake and i found it under the guise of GT5, well its call GT visions so it would help if people named stuff correctly.

Vision GT isn't a game, it's a vision of a game, that game is GT5. You see the first two cars in the vid the RX-7 and Lancer Evo, they are car models for GT5. Kaz has confirmed this, so since the video is a sort of early sneek peek at what to expect in GT5, it's not wrong to name it either.

HOLY HELL!

It looks liek it is going to have EVERYTHING we want (except damage, unless many updates come after that video). I am REALLY looking forward to GT5


Pros:

Better backdrops (notice the 3D Textured,animated water?)
Better,detailed cars.
More cars on the track at a time.
Pit crews look GREAT.
Much better outside environment (tents,spectators,etc.)
Physics look awesome.


Cons:

STILL GT4 pit uniforms
No real change in track texture.
Dashboard view looked a bit odd (at that 3 second glance we get of it)
AI still looks dumb as nails.



We'll have to wait and see for more!

well it could just be like the gt4 intro. ya it looks good, but it doesn't really represent the ingame graphics too well because the intro looks better. though if it really is that detailed, im really excited, especially with just big grids.

Besides Kaz has already confirmedthe fiorst two cars the RX-7 and Lancer Evo that are in high detail are the models we should expect in game. The rest of the vid is GT4 with more effects and cars on track ect, hence the reason they called it Vision GT, not GT5.

I bet that Ford GT race car in the intro to GT4 was a CGI of what the cars in GT5 will be like. Remember the intro to GT2? I said it was an example of what GT3 was going to be like on the then future PS2, and it was a GT2000 quality CGI. I'm beting PD did the similar thing again. But this time, with just a vehicle instead.

The into the GT2 was GT2000, but that was no secret. PD actually announced that the GT2 intro was done real time on PS2 technology than put into GT2 as a movie file. The GT40 in GT4's intro is probably a bit better than we'll get in GT5. The big difference between the GT40 and GT2's intron is the GT40 is pure CGI rendered, the GT2 intro was converted from real time streaming into CGI.

actually, the ''new'' concept with more than 6 cars on the track, is in fact pretty old... it was shown as early as E3 in May

They're early GT2000 quality, the intro to GT2 was GT on the PS2 and was later revealed to be GT2000 which was then scrapped in favour of GT3 which yes, did look a lot better.

I don´t know, the RX-7 and Lancer from the video looked the same quality as the GT40 in my opinion. I really hope the ingame graphics to be like that.

besides that, i dont see how that video represents the AI though... the problem was always the AI knowing where the player was, not nother AI cars.

well my microwave owen is smarter then the AI´s in gt1,2,3,4. so yes u can see that the AI´s are allmost the same,.. they still don´t overtake even when they are overpowed and could do it without any problems.. I take the pack in about 30 sec in a well powerd car but the AI in the same car.. it takes about 1-2 laps to overtake the pack.. I say better AI`s

Yeah but the GT4 intro you can watch on a big tv with hight quality and the Vision GT video you have to watch on the computer in a compressed file.
