Guess I'm partially responsible, but when I see cobra talking crap, I just can't help but bite. His stupidity pains me. I pray that one day he finds the common sense, that has thus far eluded him.

RSC2 looks really good but looks can only go so far. The look of a game will die off after the first few hours of playing the game. Unless the game sux all you have is graphics. RSC2's arcade gameplay may not keep my attention as long as the graphics.

Code is like a woman. He does these things for attention with disregaurd for ending a debate.

Rsc2 is a joke compared to gt4. Biased xb owners actually think the game is a gt killer. The game's graphics look good, I'll admit but honestly, gt4 kills it. Gt4 has the photorealistic look that I like. Rsc2 doesn't, it looks realistic but to a extent. When you start to see the cars in motion, you will be like, what? Cars move so unrealistic.

But Tr5 and code say gt4 isn't photorealistic, so it must be true, you have to trust board member :| Even PD said they were going for a photorealistic look and it looks like they are doing it. Despite what these haters say.

My opinion is that GT4 is the most realistic looking game, but not the best looking. I'm off to bed, I feel quite bad about spamming so much

I love games that are close to reality, gt4, stalker, and acecombat5 look photorealistic imo and I can't wait for em to come out Dont feel bad code, I have to deal with live4speed whenever he comes on. back on topic, if ferrari were in, I guess it would be ok, (highly doubt it ,though) but I don't want to see the enzo all overrated like it is. GT is a driving sim. Pgr2 is a fantsy arcade. the chances of someone driving an enzo 78 laps around monaco arent that great.(oil is like 300 a quart!) yes ferrari, no enzo.

Personally, i like games that are fun - regardless the graphics, graphical style or platform. I enjoyed Ridge Racer series parallelly to Gran Turismo series on PS1 - i had no problem with it's unrealistic arcadey handling because it was fun, with Type 4 and Rage Racer being my all time favorite arcade racers. It was fun powersliding across nice environments - with Type 4 having one of the best, most realistic courses in a PS1 game imo. I've been playing videogames since ZX Spectrum days - that's probably why graphics are no issue for me. I know it seems kinda hard to be open minded in ur age - based on ur comments - there is always this anger, this inner rage, need to fight something but u need to open up about games, ppl who play games for other than realistic looks... and maybe give code_kev some slack - he's just toying with j00. 4th most wanted doesn't forbid him coming here to talk about GT... and throw in a few spicy remarks. Most ppl here already know how p#07oR34Li5+1c GT4 will be - save this campaign, if u like, for lemmings@gs sw - if u really can't focus ur energy on sth else without feeling out of place. Ferrari - i'd really like it to be in - even if only generic models like 360 - but if Ferrari doesn't make it, i won't cry long - i know the day i go to store to pick up GT4 my legs and hands will be shaking like there's no tomorrow

Watching G4's interveiw with one of the producers he says the game is a arcade rally sim. For the games content I'd prefer a simulation type rally game rather than something for less skilled players.

I think cobra_gt got some kind of virus called "HYPE". I mean, i play GT since the first one, i have 2 concept versions, the prologue but i never knew someone loved GT so much. I think you need to rest a bit dude. Life isn't just GT.

there is gonna be 15 types of them in the JGTC version and yet to be annouced to overseas develpoment

By the way dude, i have nothing against you, and i don't want to start a fight, i just pointed some stuff about what you said about GT4.

GT4 will be amazing, but keep your feet on the ground. It looks real, but if you keep looking you'll see some low resolution textures ( blame the PS2 being low on RAM ), and textures that give a 3d effect, even though they are on a flat polygon.

This doesn't lower the quality of the game. But considering GT4 the best of everything, the best thing ever created by human hands, is just lame.

Other games may not be graphically better, or have arcade-ish gameplay, but it doesn't mean they're not fun. Sometimes that kind of gameplay is what we want to play. Sometimes we want simulation, so we go for GT.

You will probably flame me, but one game i'm playing (when i have free time) is Ridge Racer Type 4. Although it doesn't have real cars, the gameplay is addicting. Another games i keep playing, from time to time, are F1 Challenge and some of it's mods like ETCC 03 and DTM 2002.

Wrong points.
1. The "Testarossa" had at least 390 bhp
2. It's a Ferrari 348tb. (Thats where they got the 348 figure from)
3. GT4 is a game. The PS2 is a gameing platform

So that'll mean that this bit is bull**** too.

cobra you still think that canyon is completely 3D?!?!

Its easy to prove I'm right that its simply a basic 3D mesh wrapped around the track with a large texture/edited photo applied to it. All you have to do is park your car next to a wall in 3rd person cam. You should be able to see through the wall into a black abyss with the magic 'fully 3D' backgrounds (or to others, flat backgrounds) circling around the track with just blackness at the bottom. So it blatently isnt' a fully 3D background (with 3d rocks etc miles into the distance ) as anyone with half a brain would've known regardless. Particually noticable on Citta & also Grand Canyon.

How would you say cobra, oh yes, you have been owned

Btw PD said they were going for a photorealistic look, it was you & easily pleased & over hyped games mags that said it was photorealistic

The canyon isn't fully 3d, now the canyon that is all in your face is the one that is 3d, you would know this if you played gt4p which I doubt. Now the canyon off in the distance is 2d. But the rest of the tracks in gt4p have bitmaps.
