True, that's why I hope to see more detailed temperature readings in the telemetry (I don't remember how it's called in GT) screen or the set-up screen. I agree that during a race the approximation given by colors is more than enough and also relatively realistic.

The nice thing is that tyre wear and temps are being used in license tests, but how about damage...?

is there a bumper cam? with an a traditional Rev counter.

I need that view!!

Don't worry it's there

Only problems is most of the cockpits are unsuable for just driving. They become really dark in certain conditions, and unless you use the narrow view option for cockpit, you can't read the text, and doing so chops off half the dash....
Only open top cars don't get too dark.

I don't like how all the HUD info pops up at any touch of the buttons in replay.
In the other GT games, they only came up after you deliberately choose to have them up. Now it isn't possible to change replay camera views look left/right without the HUD info popping up :(

If it ain't broken don't change it PD!

The darkness problem is an issue with the lighting engine, great for photo mode, but terrible for gameplay lighting :(
After all this time I thought they would have done some non-linear system to increase the dynamic range...
So that the sky is not burnt out, and the dfark areas can still be seen clearly. At night you can barely see anything, even the street lit tracks.

You can change EV, but a gamma setting would have been much better. All EV does is increase the burnout when you try to increase it to brighten the image up

What I miss is for one a customizable display so that you can select from a variety of choises and combinations and have, let's say, only digital info and what every one is asking. The option to turn it off.
