Sure be nice if they fixed the proximity sound reduction issue. I'm just learning how to drive with ABS off and it's awfully hard to do when you can't hear the tires of your car under heavy braking.

So, please stop suggesting that this maintenance will "fix" anything. It won't. If something was fixed, it's already there with the last update. DLC was most likely included in 2.06 (the GT Academy prize cars for sure). There's nothing they have to "unlock" now. You can't use DLC anyway until you have received it as a prize inside the game, or purchased it in the store. And that is NOT done during maintenance.
I wonder when the next PS3 firmware is coming, seems like ages ago, I remember when they used to release it 6 times a day, just to re-write their TOS stating that you can't file a lawsuit while their fingers are in their ears.

Would love to get my hands on a GT3-RSR, GTC, 962. All with Gran Turismo Physics. Not a fan of Forza Physics as it feels very sloppy and very very sad I can play those cars in GT5.
Funny, last time their was maintenance there were people so eager to shoot down the update fan fare. We saw what happened there. So why not just wait and see instead of telling people they are wrong when you don't know as much as they do, especially seeing how last time, they were right.

I think what happened is that most of us try to not get the expectations too high. Because it was so damn frustrating in the past... waiting for an update on every maintenance notice.
If there's no maintenance, that's ok... If they bring something, like the last time, you'll be happier.
Worked for me before 2.06. No expectations then YAY! Update!
