New Maintenance Notice!

I realize that now, I somehow read it as 06/06. Stupid Dyslexia.

It actually reads 1st of June, The rest of the world goes D/M/Y, where here we have to be different(and wrong) and go M/D/Y

This is what made me think it was a joke at first. Then, I realized us "merricans" like to use MM/DD/YYYY format, while many other countries don't, so I read it wrong. :dopey:

I guess this date format thing goes hand-in-hand with the metric system that we refuse to adopt over the Imperial system. Well, except in the fields of science and our Armed Forces, that is.

This maintenance might be a way of seeing if PD checks this forum.

Imagine if most of the bugs mentioned in the 2.06 bug thread get fixed (which is my guess), then we know that there's a good chance "the company", reads our feedback.

Enginesound dissapearing when passing another car, nr 1 on the list hopefully.

Hour long maintenance. Last time we went over this we said there wasn't going to be a patch.

This is most likely a patch to patch up some things from the previous patch, if there is a patch after the maintenance.

I forgot to mention; we also get the Schulze '12 GTR as a freebie ;)

maybe DLC is getting announced at this year's E3 (5-7 June)?

it's either that or PD is trolling us

Could be both server maintenance/tweaking and an update to correct some minor issues. I certainly won't rule either one completely out.

But if they do the update, then I want them to fix an issue where if you land on your bumpers and they whack the dirt on Toscana Reverse TT, your lap time doesn't go red. It would seem that the road isn't a barrier that you can violate to gain time in GT5, but lose it. Hey, I fail to understand PD's rationing behind this, but anyway.

When I hit it, it went red. Just slow down a tad but before hitting the hill

Maintenance means Silverstone. Great news!

Sarcasm

I'm not skeptical of anything, I'm just happy they are doing this in the middle of the night.

If it is patch, it'll be bugfix for Route X pitstop, I suppose.

This.

I bet it's this. The maintenance mystery solved.

I think what happened is that most of us try to not get the expectations too high. Because it was so damn frustrating in the past... waiting for an update on every maintenance notice.

If there's no maintenance, that's ok... If they bring something, like the last time, you'll be happier.

Worked for me before 2.06. No expectations then YAY! Update! :D

Yes I do the same, however, I was referring to those who are absolutely adamant about it.

I'm not going to get my hopes up; all I'm going to say is this -

Oh look another maintenance announcement. Strap me down lest I be washed away by the tsunami of apathy I feel about this.

Update 2.07? just released, 2.1kb very tiny...

edit: I just read it and said, corrected where a pit stop was not possible in the Special Stage X Oval course.

To build on a pun Spagetti69 started...
Kazunori, hurry up the maintenance tonight.
