New Method For Duping/Free Cars?

I'd love to but I'm currently away from my PS3. Could someone please test it for me, and then (once I get back) I'll verify it and edit the OP. Thanks!

No. If the car isn't in your garage when you connect, it automatically deletes the car from your online space. Same thing with drivers.

Nope - won't work. Tried that and restores to your previous state, even the UCD cars came the same.

But after thinking 💡 now for quite sometime on how to beat the system, i think this one will work.

2 PS3 Consoles on LAN connection not Online. 1 with old 1.05 update or earlier (saved on another HDD) and 2 with present 1.08 update.

The question would be: Can we gift or send a car/s to the 2nd console?
Has anyone tried this? That is if you saved the old update on HDD where no limit to gifting... this would be exciting as i got the original saved. Just need another console.

the 1.05 (though you'd only need 1.06, since 1.07 is where the limit was put in place....) console will be unable to connect to PSN without being updated, and without being online, no sending will take place.

No, this is thru LAN (Local Area Network) or by cable 2 PS3 connected not online.

Is LAN possible on GT5? IIRC there were some funky LAN setups for GT5 but I haven't heard of it with GT5 and this was only to race.

No I get it, I'm saying it's not possible to trade if you're not online. There's no way to send the cars without the PSN. And there's no way to PSN without being online.

Cliffs: you need to be online to trade.

I know you can share a car on your sub account and then re-load the save and that shared car still is available.

Back when we had "Bonus Races" you could buy the lame car the sub account. Share the car. Load primary account and get into the car. Re-load the sub account from save, and you''re main account would still be in the Online Car.

Sounds very similar to:
Save the game (account 1) with a bank balance of 1m
Buy the car
Gift it to account 2
Reload save

A/c 1 still has the money and a/c 2 has the car, just need to dupe it back to the first account (next day if on same ps3). Both accounts now have the car, and the original account still has 1m balance

Yes, but this would have allowed you to dupe multiple cars in one day without the trading limit. Also, it would have meant free cars since you don't actually pay for them.
