That's an interesting point, and it actually swung my vote on the poll.
My favourite RL manufacturer is Audi. I think that they are producing some of the best-looking and best-engineered cars on sale today, and they have been consistently innovative. I don't know of any manufacturer who makes interiors to the quality of Audi. However, they are not the cheapest in the world, and I would have to say that the A3 is not the best Golf-based VW group product. They also lack presence up in the stratosphere, although I think I would gladly hand over all current and future wealth for an R8.
But, these are weaknesses, and there is another manufacturer that does have all the bases covered, and in many areas with superiority. That manufacturer, also on this poll, is Mercedes. True, the A-Class is a little rough, and it would be nice if we could bottom out exactly how much of the Smart is Mercedes. However, the C-Class coupe is a great car, as is the saloon. The E-Class is excellent too, and the S-Class is just about holding off the new A8 for top of the executive heap. The SL is one of the most lust-inducing cars currently on sale, and with the AMG versions, and the forthcoming SLR, things are getting hot up top too. They can also do you a decent line in MPVs, trucks, vans and SUVs, if you're into that kind of perversion.
And why exactly do Toyota Supra lick balls Shinez???
