New posts not showing

Every so often (and more and more regularly lately) I open up GTPlanet, to see a full host of grey folders. Now, this wouldn't be a problem, if is wasn't after a long time off the site (even after 6-7 hours), but when I look down the last post column, it shows that yes, new posts have been made since I was last in, but they are not being flagged as new.

Sometimes a simple refresh will clear it, but normally I need to go through and check every forum that I am interested in individually, which can take quite a while on a throttled broadband connection (64k), so I was wondering if there is something I can do at my end to stop this?

Yes, clearing your cookies may very well resolve it. Otherwise, check your cache settings. You're just viewing an old version of the page and your browser does not know it needs to be checking for the latest one from the server.
