I've been following the 167 page PS3 Slim thread on NeoGAF - It's about time. If it's around £230(or less) then sold!

ASDA (the UK equivalent of WalMart) have announced a PS3 price cut yesterday as well, bringing a bundle down to £250:

I would be surprised if the new PS3 slim was priced below that, for obvious reasons. But the price drop on the original PS3 is a good omen that the PS3 slim is almost upon us.

A few shops in Japan have already completely sold out of the fat PS3 (with no new stock coming) so it seems very plausable that the slim is right round the corner.

It's most likely just to get rid of stock. I can see the Slim launching at £250 with Dualshock3 and game.
£250 = roughly 300 Euro, so it would be fair. Although $300 is £180.

Why is the Slim, which has yet to be released, been placed under Entertainment --> Classic Games --> Playstation? *

If you go to Entertainment --> Playstation 3 --> Playstation 3 Hardware, there is nothing shown for the Slim.

* Correction - if you go to Classic Games --> Playstation, there is no Slim shown. You can only get there following the link that Shokz provided.
