Nissan showed their new Skyline, and it's awesome!

And take a look at those awesome headlights.

Yeah it's a nice car, but how many threads do we need on it?

Answers on a postcard please.

Eek!!! Me no likey. Too choppy and no flow at all! Those door vents, c-pillars and the wing comppletely clash!!! I think they had their moment with the older GTR concept, pulled off the 350Z and then were left with this. What a disappointment.

I don't see much 350Z in there, and I don't see any RX8.

I love it.

I,m glad they did not kill of the Skyline brand at all. The Skyline is one of my fav Asian cars.

The Skyline R34 looks like it's a verry old model becaus it's so boxy, the R34 looks like the R32 too much. What they did now, is daring, and verry nice!

It still looks ugly, in fact I see some of that EVO X thing in it. I'm sure it will be a fairly good car but its still ugly as sin. But what was to be expected? All the other Skylines have been ugly as hell. I would take a 350Z over that anyday.

I actually quite like it, but it still doesnt look as if its ready for the road, it still looks like a concept car (dont know if that makes sense).

I assume you mean yuo'd take a 350Z's looks over it, not the actual car since theres a pretty big gulf in value, performance and quality between the two, the looks are subjective, while I agree that the 350Z is the better looking car, I don't think this is ugly, it's not pretty but it's not ugly imo. I an see hints of the EVO X in the front too, not counting the lights ofcourse, but the shape of the the intake ect.

Performance isn't my main goal when looking for cars, I go for more style then anything. I mean if I have to drive it everyday it better look half way decent. But I've never liked the Skyline GT-R's, I just don't care for them. I would much rather take the 350 or better yet an Infiniti G35 coupe (yes I know its called a Skyline), they have decent power and they look great.

*Edited out anything that would start a debate cause I cant be bothered.

Looks nice, I like it, looking forward to it.

Japan expresses the idea of "future" better than any other country in terms of their industial design... I don't mean this car necessarily looks like a well proportioned design or suggest it will have long lasting good looks, but its certainly very interesting and exciting. :)

Well thats a fair enough comment, thats one of the reasons why I'd take an Aston Martin V8 Vantage over any Porsche 911 (exept the GT-1 on value alone), it's fast enough, it looks stunning imo and it can be used everyday. I'd take a DB9 over the AM V8 too for the same reasons, it's just better at everything all round exept maybe track performance. But I don't hate the looks of this as much as you so I'm not so inclined to choose a 350Z over the GT-R.

I don't see a Z or RX8, either. It looks very original, it looks like a GT-R, nothing else. I think it looks good.

Actually, this car completes the separation of Skyline and GT-R, I believe.

The front end, right? I was thinking the same. I guess we'll find out soon enough!

-> Well the Proto is a lot better than the GT-R Concept from 2001:

-> But if people diagree with the style of the Proto, well I have no against that. But I like the Proto, it completely separates from the other platform-mates ([V35] Skyline GT350/G35; [Z33] Fairlady Z/350Z). My taste if far different compared to Blazin, I value performance over style. All business, no BS. (:

That is TOTALLY a 350Z, except that it takes what was good about the 350Z and screws it up. The back end is chunky (skyline characteristic), and it's boxy, but other than that it's a 350Z.

All in all, I like the Z better. But the new skyline still looks good.... just not as good as the car it borrowed ideas from.

I think I like the overall look of the concept better. But what I really wanna know is, what's that blue car behind the GT-R? Looks like it has suicide doors or something....

Neocrox
The car that is standing there, hasn't got interior, neither an engine..
I was wondering about the interior.

Meh I'd rather be noticed then impress people with power. Power is cool, but I need something that looks cool as hell too.

everyones a critic...obviously, some of you guys need to take some design classes :sly: jk

honestly, it shares *a bit* of silhouette and proportions with the Z but thats about it. and i definately dont see rx8.

design language is consistent with other nissan cars, but still shows gtr cues as well as fresh interpretations. i think everything looks great below the green house 👍 its way too busy from the beltline up. the twin ridges along the roof gutter gotta go. and that window cut, oye what havoc. looks good on paper as its conveys speed and emotion, but in practice nope 👎 but the surface treatment on the nose is just awesome. especailly the raked upper portion of the grill and how it still protrudes outward. cool a$$ ****

Hiya! :D :O  Meow! (='.'=)

The more I look at it, the more I want to get rid of that angled top. :nervous: I think Nissan/Infiniti should get it curvy like the 350Z. 👍 The front bumper of the car would need some changing in my opinion. :O

I still wonder that people see a Z in that.. If Nissan made another Skyline that would look like the older version, like they did with the first 4, it would be boring. It would be like; Ah, a Skyline R35! ;Huh, what's the difference?
The taillights are quite the same, think they work the same as from the R34. I like the R33 the most, if you braked all the lights were on, now only 2..

I still don't like the car, but I also agree with Neo. I'm so glad they didn't try to make a R35 or something.

I mean the fact that the R3# is the only skyline most people know about is sad...just throwing something else onto that would be.......eeehh..
