I still can't over the fact that the FFB feels very notchy. If not for that issue, this game's physics would be perfect. Awesome engine sound too. Stupid gear change sound though

I have a question... and it might be a noob question... but a lot of times I miss gear shifts... is that because I have the brake pushed? or going to fast? My knowledge doesnt expand far enough to figure that one out... Im on a DFP... or is it because Im missing a clutch?

You mean you shifted down under braking and the gear doesnt change? But you hear a sound right? I noticed it too. Coming down the back straight on SPA at 5th gear, and it sometimes takes you 4 clicks to go down to second gear.

I think its just that you're not slowed down enough for the engine to allow you to change to a lower gear. The revs are too high so maybe you should wait a little farther down the braking zone to change gear. That's my assumption.

I don't think you guys need to worry since you are in an open beta, I don't think us in the closed beta have been released from the NDA so we aren't saying anything yet.

Yeah, open generally don't have a NDA.
I remember back when I was in the consumer dev team/ closed beta of World In Conflict how strict the NDA was.

L3 turns on the headlights . I can't figure out the McLaren, I tried it once but all I did was go straight off the track.

Thats right I was in my own lobby... nobody was joining except you I got ROMPED by you last night, but it was fun... my fastest up til now was a 2.16,xxx but thats still like 3 sec. off your pace...
