New Team: Team Velocity

Hi everyone,

So about 10 minutes ago me and Braddlez_99 were talking about creating a new
1/4 Drag Team. I asked him if I made one would he join and he said "Yeh Defs" so we started talking about what we should name our team and within about 20 minutes of brainstorming we came to our decision....'TEAM VELOCITY'

So at the moment we are recruiting 1/4 tuners that are active enough to be kept in touch with the team. We highly recommend Australians and New Zealanders due to the time-zone difference.

So yes if you would like to join.... whether its in-game or just a PM please don't hesitate to ask to try-out. Our members are polite and will not deny a request unless given the need to.

Hopefully we will soon start posting some 1/4 Tunes for you guys.

I don't understand how it's a test. 90% of the time in a GTR '12 isn't sometimes. I'm just saying honestly in the drag world it doesn't earn any respect, and if you want your team to become known and recognised; you need to realise that and learn that teams tune MANY cars and use MANY cars.

Srf makes my gtr run slower. Without it I run a 8.975 and with it I run a 9.008.

It depends on your tune, if you modify 1st gear you can make it faster

I beg to differ. I run under nines in my black and was beat by a vspec. Not by alot. Then I was spanked by a gt academy gtr.

Are you using 1/4 mile or 400m. And have you not given the learderboard a look? No one is even close to breaking the nine second mark in 09 gtr spec v, unless someone is using srf.

I wouldn't say far away from 09 braking into the eights they are very close 0.30 secs is a car or alittle less.

When you are close to the full potential of a car 0.30 is alot of time. Maybe the best tuned spec v could bring you half way to 9.015. But even that kind of time is very doubtful. But anything could happen.

Yea the update killed our times. I just checked the best run posted before the update was 9.012 by PTK. Hopefully PD will not change the games physics agian to further worsen our times.

The car looked like a vspec. I don't know if they used srf though. I know i don't. We were using a person ghosting. I could have been treed or lagged. I don't take it as serious as most people so I don't ask for a rerun.

I LOL'd. That '8.799' was pre 2.04 on SRF and 400m. I then proceed to race Ethan's 'sub 8.8' GTR and get at least a car on it (with no aids for the record.)

It's funny to think that you now want to make a team when you can't even race without SRF most the time. And when there are no aids you rely on the GTR '12 as your saviour.

This is not a test, nor will it ever be so please stop using that 'argument'.

Hey guys, I am interested in this team. I am fairly new (a couple of weeks) into drag racing on here, but I do have some real life knowledge and have been reading/trying things on my own. I do need a little help here and there, but am doing fairly well I think and catch onto things quickly. I have a very analytical mind, so I like to find the best possible solution for problems, which applies well with this, keeps my interest flowing.

Let me know if I am someone you would want to talk to more or try out or anything.
