Okay, I know the Trueno SS is a good drifter. But Im new to the drift scene. What would be the best car to start off with? Can someone help me out with this drifting, I never got it.

try 4wd cars also u can check alot of drift setting at drift setting depot . the best either gtr-34 or evo 5,6 or 7 . try the thios setting for gtr-34 its nice also evo 6 if im not mistaken....hope this are help... btw welcome to gtp .:D :D

check the how to guide, its got some nice information. but it all comes down to practice practice and more practice. ive been drifting for quite awhile, but i still dont consider myself great at it. i just posted some settings in the settings depot thred, maybe check that thread out too.

Gran.....use a 22B...it's very very simple settings no crazy mods....Get a 22B Scoobie Coupe
Mod it to between 390-410 HP
lighten it to stage 2 and put sport tires on it..That's it..If you want to lower it you can't..but you don't have to. and it is the perfect AWD drifting machine.....Takes corners like a dream a wet dream...A Wet Drifting Dream

man Shinez you describe too much into the sex part of cars, dont tell me your having it with the car, hahaha j/k, anyways to start to drift, you need to brake downshift and accelerate fast, thats all i guess

brake hard while turning in to overload the suspension, swing the back out. I don't remember who told me this, but if it sais it's 3rd gear turn, stay in 4th then shift down to 3rd as your back is pulling out to get the extra boost. It really only works with 4wd cars.

So say, Laguana Seca. The Andretti Hairpin (TURN 1).

It says go in third, stay in forth and slide the rear out, then shift into 3rd quickly in the middle of the turn? Is this right?

That'll work if you're using the right car, sometimes you'll have to be sideways way before that corner happens since it pulls up after that massive downhill.

It took me maybe a whole month to get drifting down, and I'm still not perfect at it. Once you get the perfect drift car for you, you'll get better in 2 days than you did all the time you were learning on other cars.

That's really all you can do. And try out different cars if the one you're working on doesn't seem to be getting any progress.

Do you use manual or autohttps://www.gtplanet.net/forum/images/smilies/mohttps://www.gtplanet.net/forum/images/smilies/more/1337.gifre/1337.gifhttps://www.gtplanet.net/forum/images/smilies/more/1337.gifhttps://www.gtplanet.net/forum/images/smilies/more/1337.gifhttps://www.gtplanet.net/forum/images/smilies/more/1337.gifhttps://www.gtplanet.net/forum/images/smilies/more/1337.gifhttps://www.gtplanet.net/forum/images/smilies/more/1337.gifhttps://www.gtplanet.net/forum/images/smilies/more/1337.gifhttps://www.gtplanet.net/forum/images/smilies/more/1337.gifvvvhttps://www.gtplanet.net/forum/images/smilies/more/1337.gifvhttps://www.gtplanet.net/forum/images/smilies/more/1337.gifhttps://www.gtplanet.net/forum/images/smilies/more/1337.gifhttps://www.gtplanet.net/forum/images/smilies/more/1337.gifhttps://www.gtplanet.net/forum/images/smilies/more/1337.gifhttps://www.gtplanet.net/forum/images/smilies/more/1337.gifhttps://www.gtplanet.net/forum/images/smilies/more/1337.gifhttps://www.gtplanet.net/forum/images/smilies/more/1337.gifhttps://www.gtplanet.net/forum/images/smilies/more/1337.gifhttps://www.gtplanet.net/forum/images/smilies/more/1337.gifhttps://www.gtplanet.net/forum/images/smilies/more/1337.gifhttps://www.gtplanet.net/forum/images/smilies/more/1337.gifhttps://www.gtplanet.net/forum/images/smilies/more/1337.gifhttps://www.gtplanet.net/forum/images/smilies/more/1337.gifhttps://www.gtplanet.net/forum/images/smilies/more/1337.gifhttps://www.gtplanet.net/forum/images/smilies/more/1337.gifhttps://www.gtplanet.net/forum/images/smilies/more/1337.gifhttps://www.gtplanet.net/forum/images/smilies/more/1337.gif

Answering the first question: There's no drifting-school car, but there some cars that better don't catch them to learn. I think the drivetrain to begin is 4WD with a medium powered car. And then go to RWD.
My first car: Evo V, with all parts (~550hp), medium hard tyres, toe: 2.0 (front and rear), and ASM-TCS:0, LSD-suspension: all stock.
