New Track in GT Sport World Finals?

I honestly don't get the attraction of the F50. To me it's everything a Ferrari isn't - lousy styling, soft handling and a terrible quality that simply doesn't represent the brand. To go from the orgasmic F40 with a killer sound, awesome handling, seductive looks and a raw driving experience to something that is utterly repulsive makes me cringe. People only like it because they have some kind of emotional connection to it; whether through NFS or a bedroom poster. Not because it's actually any good. I like the F40 because IT IS GOOD, as I was born well after it came out. The bulbous design language on the F50 is absolutely hideous; I genuinely fail to understand how anyone can tolerate it's looks. It makes my dad's Commodore look pleasant. And that's really saying something. Keep on drooling over this thing but I'm sorry, it just doesn't appeal to me in the slightest.

Whilst I agree with you its looks are poor, let's remember it has a V12 engine detuned from Prost/Mansell's 1990 Ferrari F1 car. So sound has potential to be awesome.

I was never a fan of the F50 especially as the F40 is my all time favourite car. But I once saw a black F50 outside the casino at the Monaco Grand Prix. It looked absolutely incredible - real life batmobil like! From that moment on I have then liked the F50. F40 easily subverts it though, as does the Enzo. My personal jury is out on La Ferrari.

It looks like the best Tokyo layout to have races on. 3 long straights seems reasonable.

I'm trying to build a mental image of a lap around it but it looks like there are a few new section that aren't part of the current layouts. I might be wrong though.

There were seen some kind of dock area in the new layout could it be taken from this part of Tokyo Expressway route by the way?

Still, we don't know exactly how it looks like until tomorrow race but when I try searching "Tokyo Expressway docks", the "Bayshore Route" came up. It does make sense though since it is located in Yokohama, which is Tokyo's largest dock and shipping port area. Also, one of the famous wangan route.

Useless "Future GTS updates/cars analytics" time.
Actually, if these N500 cars in the list are the only new thing for us to see on this event, new Ford GT is the only option, because other cars' names don't leave any space for specualtions. Of course, there's still Gr.3 and Gr.1 cars, but PD never showed new race cars on these events (though, they didn't add a lot of these to the game either, so it's a pretty weak argument ).
Probably, SlipZtrEm meant all these cars, that appeared on the screens (like FuguZ), but PD don't plan to show these to everyone (since this event is closed to public), do they?

I would say it's the '06 Ford GT because, in the case where cars have the same name across multiple generations (see Honda NSX), they are marked with their model year. Since the only Ford GT in the game is the '06, they didn't need to use the year, am I thinking correctly?

pretty much especially when you see between Daikoku and Honmoku JCT area somewhat you'll see the layout.

Now that South Inner Loop looks okay. Not complex, but this will be fine. I can really see that circuit connecting with the Eastern or the Central looped circuit. PD really should consider doing this.

I wonder if PD will do a North and West Inner/Outer Loop too. That would really be cool... in terms of connecting all the loops together that is.

I respect everyone's opinion, but you are terribly misinformed. If anything the F50 is closer to what Ferrari is all about than the F40. With it's F1 race derived, naturally aspirated V12, which are both a huge part of Ferrari's DNA. I could even go one better by stating that the even newer F12 TDF is closer in that respect, in it being a front-engine V12 like the legendary cars of the 50's that made Ferrari what it is, minus the racing roots. Terrible quality is what Ferrari's were notorious for through most of their life under Enzo's stewardship. Unless you find the lack of carpets, cheap red fabric, visable welding points and rough carbon fibre on the interior of the F40 a step up over the the leather, alcantara and glossy carbon finish of the F50. But neither car can be considered having a luxury interior and that was never their purpose. The F50 had huge boots to fill replacing the F40 and was always going to be the "difficult second album". If the F40 originally had the F50's naturally aspirated V12 and the F50 had the F40's twin turbo V8, then people would complain even then about the F50 not being a "proper Ferrari" or a worthy successor to the F40. The F40 had the benefit of coming first, regardless of it's advantages and disadvantages over the F50. The F50 being one of the first road cars to use a carbon fibre tub and having pushrod suspension brought it even closer to being a race car for the road than the F40. The open top option on the F50 provides a closer race car type experience and coupled with it widley being acclaimed as being as one of the best sounding Ferrari road cars just adds to that. Looks are subjective, so I will give you that. But your obvious dislike for the F50 has lead you to make uniformed statements that are completely wrong. And "people only like the F50 because they have an emotional connection to it" you say? So what is your connection to the F40? Do you own one or were you involved in the development of it? I am sure your connection to the F40 has some emotion attached to it as well. Most people's affection, for rare, expensive peformance cars, especially before widespread access to the internet was available, was because of posters, magazine articles, Tv coverage, video games or scale models. I think you need to search for more accurate information about the F50 before making such an ironically emotional and ill researched statement about it. You may still prefer the F40 after reading about it, and that is fine by me, but please look up the facts before making such a bold statement is all I ask.

Thank you for reading.

Are there any tunnel sections? Or the track only goes under overpasses of the highway, on the highway, and then through the port?

I'm not entirely sure I like the layout, in my experience tracks that have long stretches of road followed by sharp bends are not good for SR/DR ratings.

But still, free track is free track :)

look at this corner.View attachment 780533this section has the vibe of SSR5, look at the trees on the left (after the hairpin)

Now that you mentioned it, that specific place does resembles SSR5 a bit, as in the left corner going down right after the right on the bifurcation that separates Clubman Stage Route 5 and Special Stage Route 5.

Still, not enough to rebrand it LOL! At best that specific point could be considered a tribute.
