New Transformers Game? Why Does It Look Like A PS2 Game?

I just saw the trailer for the new Transformers game, and honestly. THe graphics look like a PS2 game.

Well 'movie tie in games' very rarely are stellar production efforts and they are just a way of advertising the upcoming film. The development cycles are very short and the budgets are low which is why they usually aren't as impressive as AAA titles.

I wouldn't say Transformers graphics are as bad as PS2, but more like early PS3 games.

In my opinion they should be downloadable. Like the Scott Pilgram which was actually pretty good.

My son got the new one, and it doesn't look or play near as good as war for cybertron. War for cybertron was actually a really good transformers game. This new one seems to be pretty much garbage. My boy is 5 and he even knows a junk game when he plays one. He played the new one for a day or 2and then went back to the old one.
I thought the old game looked stale because of the lack of color where almost everything was metal, but at least eh metal looked good. This new game just looks awful. And the story line isn't near as good.
