Newbie avatar update?

Just got to thinking about something... GTP has gone through many changes over its lifespan, but the avatars for the newbies haven't.

Would this be something to consider updating to go with the boards as they are today?

I agree, maybe some new ones would be good, like car pics from GT5P or something. That way they can get something more current.

The first (and really only) challenge for you avatar creators is to not violate copyright status when doing so.

Don't let Pako hear that... He's a big dude, and instantly appears whenever his name is mentioned in any topic.

Anyway, yes, they are all a bit out of date, but I don't mind considering they might encourage a user to participate more in order to get something else. Of course, I know you guys would really enjoy a competition, so if someone wants to organize that I won't mind adding the winner's collection. It would make for a nice annual event. 👍 Just make sure the images are no larger than 75x75 pixels / 15 KB in size.
