First, I must thank you for posting this message as it revealed to me a slight typo of mine in the user group configuration. New user accounts are not able to use the Private Messaging system until they have made at least one post or have been registered for 30 days. My mistake was that I still allowed you to store at least 5 messages when you actually should not have been able to use the system at all. The reason for this restriction is that in the past we have experienced spammers who simply created accounts and abused our private message system. Because private messages can be hard to police, such restrictions make things a bit harder for someone with bad intentions.
