Next DLC (May/June...aaargh!) whats it gonna be?

Agreed. 👍 The Spec 3.00 update will be the perfect touch with the final DLC as well. Then finally put GT5 to rest, and move on to continue with GT6 fully.

Im not holding on to any false hopes of a spec 3 or final dlc.

If they do end up doing it bonus but I think that pd will be throwing everything into gt6 being a launch title for ps4.

PS4? :irked: I'm not willing to wait for GT6 just for PS4. When the PS4 comes out, Kaz will say he'll want 2 more years for GT6. :grumpy:
 
Kaz said he had lots of content in the pipeline after the first DLC was released so I would expect several more DLC packs before gt6 is released.

Yeah. And besides, he's probably too busy handling GT Academy right now. Wait. Kaz has several content left? Woohoo. :)

That, and Kaz said, "I think that will include cars and trucks that we’ll be releasing maybe once every two months or so from here on out."

I doubt three car packs/one track pack was all that he wanted to release.
 
Sure hope there is a decent amount of content left. Otherwise it will be a LONG wait till GT6. Which if they are smart, will be a PS4 launch title.

So keep that DLC comin, Kaz! Let us help finance the development of GT6.

Im still going to stand by that and im pretty sure sony would push for gt to be a launch title.

As much as I hope your right, I'm thinking that gt6 will be on ps3 kinda like a final good bye, or maybe it'll be one of those ps3 and ps4 (or orbis) titles. But I'm thinking they'll want time for the new console to get sort of broken in... In other words, they'll want a ton of time to make gt6-7 crazy big on the next console.

At least that's what I'm thinking...
 
Now that there's no way it'll be released in April (if ever), can we now say DLC is delayed? Latest one is from mid January.

It'll be fun to see GTP's reactions to Forza4 getting 30 porsches in May (plus 60 cars before that, 10 "unique" cars a month since november) while GT5 got nothing in 3 months (plus 3 tracks before that, 25 cars total but only 20 of those aren't "duplicates")


edit: For me "duplicates" are the ones we essentially already had and PD put little to no effort to make them, which are the x2011 (racing car pack); mini cooper 2011, GTR 2012, golf R 2010 (pack 2); and mini cooper countryman FWD version (pack 3). The list could be bigger if being a bit more picky, particularly in the very first pack.

Actually discounting the made up cars, which are the ones that don't exist in real life, PD only released a total of 10 cars so far, 6 of those which are "unique". Laughable in comparison to Forza4's 60 IMO, 90 in a couple of days.
 
they really need to bring every car from every Gt game together and hopefully get more that weren't featured ... also a few more aerodynamic parts would't be bad
 
Hopefully the next DLC will imclude the Audi R18 Ultra, R18 e-tron Quattro and Toyota TS030 Hybrid to coincide with 24h du Mans. I can dream of it until then...

Where do you live.... I want to hug you..... Not really but that will suite my dreams for this game. The R10 is so underpowered in this game it's not even funny.. And then pd puts in a Peugeot two years ahead of the Audi, to what, put them in their place?... NO!! Audi has proven that you can do everything with planning.... And jumping on the bandwagon is all Peugeot to see if they could copy the R10. I hope Peugeot comes out with an all electric car and starts to keep up with Audi.... And no more custom color schemes... Those are just outright gay looking..... That 908, looks terrible compared to the real one.....

The 908 HDi FAP in GT5 looks exactly the same as the real one.

I agree completely about the Audi R10 TDI. It is useless against the Peugeot 908 HDi FAP. The Audi is from 2006 and the Peugeot from 2010 so there was never going to be proper competition between them. Those 4 years in endurance racing saw considerable advances made in diesel racing technology.

I am really looking forward to seeing the Toyota TS030 Hybrid make it's racing debut at 24h du Mans. Also, since Toyota made so many changes to the original version it looks a more aggressive car too which is always good. Check out comparison shots from launch and Spa 2012 appearance.

Plus, I will give the hug a miss thanks. Maybe if we get the cars...

Well, if there's no more DLC, why did we get the in game notification at the end of February saying that it will be delayed (significantly). I'm sure they just focused on GT Academy and most likely when it's all done, or maybe before, who knows, we will get our DLC. It's amazing how impatient people are.

We already have 1000+ cars. We need every TRACK that has been in a GT game. For some inane reason, Kaz thought we wouldn't want them. That's what he gets for thinking I guess. How hard would it have been to post a Tweet or post in the official PlayStation forums asking "if we would like the legendary tracks from GT's past in glorious HD."?

ohh dear, i am very sorry with the 908 mix up. I thought in the game that it was 2008 peugeot that was in the game, not 2010. i thought since the game came out in november of what, 2010? (im not sure, not sarcastic) i thought it would be to late to make that car. but yes, i am very fortunate to still race it, i guess i never have looked at the name the good then to see it say 2010, i thought it always looked like this:

, the one with the black, silver, and red color scheme that was in the truth in 24. I personally think that having that 908 would be better than the 2010 one...

I want that too, but just play sim raceway and rFactor. They already have those cars.
 
Other post but more like a wishlist...no DLC but last update SPEC 3.0.

What i want on it?

Realistic engine sounds (when i drive the cars and listen to the engine sound i always think in the intro video or in the Toyota GT86 or Acura NSX videos with that real sounds...why not include that?...this will give a 100% more immersion to the game)

Some standard cars being upgraded to premium and some more RM for premium cars. (for example imagine the C63 AMG with a DTM RM or the new M3 with a DTM 2012 RM or GT2 RM :drool: )

If not livery editor instead of paint colours give us some liveries to put in our cars using the same system that we have already in the game based in the gears and helmets. (i mean using the colours to match like in a racing team/ tons of variations there)

Tracks...well too much content to add at this point...forget about it. (GT6 perhaps)

Charge us for the hard work but i am sure that sounds are going to change this game + those "little" additions.

This is not going to happen but if i was Kaz...with the graphic quality that it has now and a very well implementation and development of current features + additions like i want this game could be one of the best racing/simulation games in the market.

Make it happen. If i don´t see half of this in GT6 (more than anything the sounds in my case, because trust me sounds represents half of the experience at driving a car in a game) i am going to reconsider getting the game.

I am a fan and bought Signature Edition of this game...play it since the first PS but some things needs to change for the better. Realistic graphics should match with the sound. Physics needs some re-touches.

PD start to think in the pillars of the game and then move into the features if you want to give us a true "Real Simulator".
