At this pace, nothing... Maybe it will be time to change the title of this thread to May/June... and so on...

No, but seriously, I think that something will come eventually. I've been saving $20 in my wallet just in case. In the mean time I'll keep on playing with my PS2 games (can't believe my ps2 is still runnig after a year of not being used.)

Simple... GT Academy...that's it.

at least, this is not funny for latin america... no GT love here. A LA GT Academy It would be nice some crazy city circuit here.

"Paseo de la Reforma Dragstrip" ( for Jeremy Clarkson "Tortilla Circuit" ) or sort of, it is a huge.

👍

First, Sony would need to support Latin America. They think we live in some shack in the wild eating bananas and stuff? I'm personally tired of having a US account just to be able to buy DLC and stuff, or getting kicked out of Latin American or European rooms when they see the US flag in my PSN ID :grumpy:

Now imagine how us non-stereotypical Americans feel. Yet, I feel really bad for you guys, especially when there are booming South and Latin American economies and what not.

I'm aware of that. I know most Americans don't think that way.

I guess that for Sony business is not feasible in these countries at this moment. At the end, it's the money what matters. I know it's not a cultural prejudice thing.

Well I'v been playing online and no, nobody kick me out because of my nationality. From time to time just "beaner"...
Some SONY love to LAtin American, Imagine a "new" talent could be find in Brazil, a "new" A. Sena. Latin American is NOT so bad... anyways crossed fingers.

Dont worry its cool... at least some peace and quiet occassionally. As long as the US $ dont rise again XD

In LA we lack the PS Home... dont know why.

True, but certain areas are getting big, Brazil for one instantly comes to mind growing economically. Sony shouldn't neglect you guys due to some regional economic bias, not all that fair.

Anyways it seems another day has gone by with no new for DLC. Either way if DLC does come out after the May GT Academy Download I still believe that PD don't have a set calender of events.

I'm tired of this why doesn't PD have Porsche?

I'm gonna go another route: why doesn't Forza have more Skylines?

They need more skyline DLC.

 no one has ever said that before.

Funny thing about the South American countries is that first of all i was born in Uruguay...i had a PS there and a Gran Turismo copy (with other amazing games) and we are fanatics of the series there (my friends of course too). (i´m 27 now)

AND in about 2 years the entire country will have optical fiber network (internet) at the level of Sweden and Norway. (if you know about standard living in those countries, you know what i am talking about- not even saying that my country is just like that haha but not that bad as you believe, take a look at Punta del Este)
My country has a low market because of population which is 3.5 million. And that is the main problem.

Other funny fact is that i am living in Spain (7 years by now) and network here sucks! lol
I have only a 10MB DSL network. Optical fiber only works for Barcelona and main cities and i live in front of the beach and here i can´t have that service. 1st world country huh! lol again.

The thing is that for not paying attention to this they are loosing some market that could be bigger than they think. Just having in consideration Brazil (just above my country) which is huge and a growing economy and i found this:

"Brazil is the sixth most populous country in the world after China, India, the United States, Indonesia and the Russian Federation. Its poulation is approximately 185 million, and is predominantly young: 62% of Brazilians are under 29 years of age."

And i know people from there and they play games as Battlefield and they are at the top of the leaderboards on tons of games. EA has servers in Brazil for South America. (i lived in Sao Paulo 3 years too, yes close to the F1 circuit 'Interlagos')

Huge mistake for not paying that much attention not only to South America, i can say the rest of Europe too who can´t participate and the rest of the world.

Sorry for off topic guys but i understand him.

Me to looking on ebay for GT4 👍

I was just looking around the Bugatti Veyron, and the brakes are modelled extremely well... like finest detail. Maybe the Veyron will be in the next DLC.

Our PS2 still works fine. Can't say the same about the 3 fat bloated PS3, they're all YLOD! Sony bent us over the barrel real good!

Safe to say that the April in the title can go the same way as March me thinks.

Try May/June.

There isn't going to be DLC in May because they will want everyone focused on Academy. By June it'll be 18 months after release so I think they're done.

I think you guys are just chasing a dream at this point. If there is going to be anymore DLC, it won't be until after the Academy has been started. My bet would be June.

Im agreeing with simonk. I dont think a new dlc will be released after gt academy its as they said 18 months from launch.

They will probably just concentrate on gt6

I want them to concentrate on GT6 instead GT5. I want my Scion tC '11 and Scion iQ '12 to be in that game, and nobody can't say other wise. :sly:

I'm pretty sure we will get at least one more DLC pack before they hang in the towel.

Agreed. 👍 The Spec 3.00 update will be the perfect touch with the final DLC as well. Then finally put GT5 to rest, and move on to continue with GT6 fully.
