What Motorsport Series do you want or to be improved

I would like to say V8 Supercars but I would actually prefer for another developer to make a standalone game based on the series.

Without realistic AI and authentic sound I think the series would lose a lot of it's appeal...

I would like to see Gran Turismo improve on the number of cars in racing series already present:
  • WRC, Dakar and Pikes Peak-As well as increasing the amount of Dirt and Snow tracks (including bringing back the old tracks), a selection of modern and historical cars to complement the 1980's-2000's rally cars, the 4 Pikes' Peak cars and one Dakar car, would help nicely. Whilst PD have the WRC cars from GT5.
  • NASCAR-Please include NASCAR Base Models!
  • D1-Again, add to the 5 D1GP cars in GT6, and also include Base Models
  • DTM and FIA GT-More cars to complement the early 2000's DTM's and the GT cars added recently to GT6, and include Base Models
Furthermore, adding F1's and V8 Supercars would help add to the variety

The upcoming Tudor United Sportscar Series. Would bring a whole bag of mixed car's into the series. I for one would love to drive a daytona prototype on the Daytona road course.

the inclusion of the M3 GT2 may lead to ALMS cars(458 GT2 anyone?). I would think V8s might be next, only because of GT Academy drivers soon to race at Bathurst next year.

Dakar. Both the African and American versions.

Also, Formula E. It's a future racing series with electric cars on street circuits only. It begins next year.

It would fit in with PD trying to become more ''green'' (with the Tesla S, the Nissan Leaf, the Fisker Karma and all the other eco friendly cars in GT6) and it would give the game a lot of great new street circuits.

I don't like the sound of that. Actually, there wouldn't be any sound to not like...

The title of this thread should be, "The First Motorsport Series To Be In Gran Turismo", because there have never been any motorsport series in Gran Turismo. Sure, there have been some cars & tracks from certain series, but not any series thenselves.

There would be sound. The transmission wine, tires squealing, wind, etc.

 You know what I meant. Either way, these are hardly the dominant sounds of an F1 race, and while the new 1.5 turbo V6s will never live up to the sound of the V10s (or even the V8s), it's better than the "fffff" of wind and the "eeeee" of an electric car.

FIA GT3.

WRC whereby you get to create your own pace notes and when they are delivered.

And please, can a moderator change the spelling of the thread title so it's spelt correctly? "Motosport" to "Motorsport"?

Ya'know, something that would be a total step in a different direction is short track racing on quarter to half mile ovals, both pavement and dirt.

I voted Historical. Would be great to have more tourisms from 70 's Group 2 like Ford Capri 3000 RS, Ford Escort BDA, BMW 3.0 CSI Alpina or BMW Schnitzer.
I guess this is too european, but those were great cars.
