The senior bowl and shrine game are long over, and the rookies are preparing to shine in their final week before Saturday's NFL Combine. Free agency starts on March 12th. Talk about your favorite guys or the needs of your favorite teams in this thread until April's draft. From that point forward, we'll roll this into the 2013 Season thread so that all discussion can be cataloged by season.

Bears need to find some TEs and O-line, but they'll probably either scrounge for them at the bottom of the list, or get some FAs to come on over.

Defense will stay the same other than a few new names here and there. It's a good thing new D coordinator Mel Tucker is not going to force the issue, and continue on Lovie's philosophy on the 4-3 and Cover-2. Can't teach old dogs new tricks I suppose in the NFL.

It's the offense that will need major work when it comes to personnel. That and seeing if Devin Hester decides to stop pouting and either market himself to other teams as a professional, or can bite his tongue and work with what HC Trestman would give him.

Vikes desperately need some WR's, especially if we do end up shipping Harvin out. Some defensive players would also be a great idea as the D-Line is getting old and out secondary could use some more talent.

I'm keeping my expectations low for 2013 though, the only reason we made it to the playoffs in '12 was because of AP.

New York needs a new everything...... What I'm not kidding they literally have no players worthy of being on the team that aren't rumored to be traded.

Harvin would look great in a Patriots uniform.

I remember when I used to live in the US. :) Anyway, the Patriots need to work on their defense. For example, if the Titans call a pitch run, the defense just stands there like they think Chris Johnson is attractive. RUN, FORREST, RUN! And Wes is getting traded?! Oh, no! :ill:

Draft order has now been posted. There should be a few additions between rounds for compensatory picks. I will update that once free agency begins.

Great job Omnis on the OPs.

Jags must take Dee Milliner or a pass-rusher like Bjoern Werner. With Gus Bradley looking to incorporate a Hybrid Double Front Defense, I would like to see a new DT brought in. I see a 4-3 being the most likely format as a 3-4 is useless unless you have a pass-rushing outside linebacker corp which obviously we do not.

I hope we take Ryan Nassib in the 2nd. He's a smart football player very much like Andy Dalton with perhaps West Coast elements in his gameplay. He might not be as natural as a Tyler Bray but he'd be a good developmental QB or if he nails it in training camp, a starter.

I hope we dip into our pockets and go and get a CB and OT like Brent Grimes or Jake Long as Bradfield had a dismal year at RT and its about 95% guaranteed Luke Joeckel is going to KC now.

We need HB insurance, depth at Safety, DT and MLB too.

You'll probably have your pick at QB in the 2nd round. Cardinals may go for Geno or Barkley, but I don't see anyone picking a QB in the 1st round without first trading down.

Geno to Cardinals.

Barkley to Bills.

Those are my bets. :)

I hope so. That means two more available for my Dolphins.

As the residential Seahawks fanatic, I have to say that I'm a bit confused. I understand that we are a young athletic team, but one of Percy's biggest skills is in the return game, and we already have one of the best in Leon Washington.

What would be nice is another deep threat. Watching last season we were doing well with the deep throws, but the problem was that for every deep ball we had, our coordinator called three 1-2 yard dump offs. I'm sure Harvin will help, I'm just don't know if it's the help we need.

Fine then, go ahead and send that feller over to the 9ers. We'll appreciate him even if you can't. ;)

49ers just traded a 6th(!) round pick to Baltimore for Anquan Boldin.

You're the first Seahawks fan I've seen that doesn't seem excited. Harvin put up almost the same numbers in 9 games as Tate and Rice did in a complete season.

That was kinda-sorta because he was the only real target over there. My point is that we are giving up at least our first round pick. IMO, we needed that pick to draft something we actually needed, like a future-star DT. I think our weakest position last year was DT. Will we be able to utilize a very athletic WR? Yes, absolutely, I think he'll fit right in.

Harvin had more production in 9 games last season than any one 'Hawk WR did last year. It's not like the Vikings were a powerhouse offense either.

You should be stoked.

Reed will either go to San Fran or New England if he doesn't retire.

NFC West will be so much fun to watch.

Percy Harvin can play any skill position on the field.

But, the niners got a freaking STEAL. That's what you call a Harbaugh-to-Harbaugh-wheelin-dealin-brotha-sent-brotha's-brotha trade.

Ravins gave Arizona a 5th for Boldin.

My bets are looking more likely now.

Fitzpatrick cut by the Bills. Wow. Not even a contract restructure.

EDIT: Hoping the Jaguars bring in Brent Grimes and Dashon Goldson. If we don't, I hope look at Aqib Talib and Glover Quin. If we don't build up our secondary because frankly who wants to play for us then Conor Barwin would be a great fit alongside Babin as our pass-rushing ends but our cheapskate owner doesn't seem to believe in free agency.

We let go of Kevin Walter today. He was a very reliable and serviceable WR for the Texans. People here think the Texans need another WR as well as a good outside linebacker. I liked Kevin Walter. He was a great player.

Vikes released Antoine Winfield, sad to see him go. Hopefully it's a move to clear space for a big signing.:nervous:

They also re-signed Jerome Felton, should make AP a tiny bit happier.:)
