I expected the Noobs would get beat like a rented mule in the beginning from the core group.

This is season two, you can no longer call me a noob, a bad driver yes but noob I am not.:grumpy:

My Ambush Canyon carver (I think). :)

Either you are an optimist, or you learn very slowly. Just kidding of course... GT5 probaly won't be out till Christmas or later (there's been another release delay I believe). Feel free to check back here when you're ready. 👍

In the first post? I saw no group listing.

That may be my mistake. I had the album they were in marked as Private. I guess you can't hyperlink them so others can see them then. I didn't realize that because, of course I can see them! Sorry. Can you see them now?

That 69 Charger is a great sleeper car.
in public lobbies i use it often for 6.00 rated races.
usually works out well because everyone underestimates this car.

Defenetly the fastest of the 6.00 rated car this afternoon i managed to get 1,31.9xx:) (With NOS of course...
I think now i might be competitive :dopey:

Thanks so much for the tips man thats what i call true sportsmanship(probably wrong spelling sorry long time from school)👍

Does it still handle like a muscle car? If so its not for me, sorry
I have got a 6.00 Audi S4 but if I remember correctly, it was deathly slow or understeery 👎
I might actually do some testing tomorrow afternoon after my biology exam which is gonna be nasty!

No it doesn't handle like a muscle car very much .
It handles more like a small boat with too much horsepower. that's not sarcasm, it really does lol.

69 Dodge Charger rt car rating 6.00
parts list.
stage 2 all except engine
stage 3 drivetrain
body kit 3
cockpit upgrades, all
weight reduction, all
nitro kit 2
15 inch rims preferred by me

There isn't much to tune with this setup , pretty easy really , so i am going to leave it up to the user , good practice for everyone .:sly:
excellent 6.00 rated car, very fast.

As a league member exclusive :
any ( league member ) that wants my setup for this car, PM me on PSN and l will send a copy.:)

any one else wanna meet up tonight for practice, i have 3 6 rated cars i would like to match up against few of you guys see which one works the best.

and for any one who wants to join when i host the race i will be going round ambush canyon 3 times in a row to test each car so if you have a few cars you want to test get them ready, but dont worry i will only make each race round ambush 2 or 3 laps long.

lol i am an optimist thats why i'v put up with the constant ramming online and the corner cutters. and yes i learn slowly but we never stop learning.
i am quite happy with my confidence in cars up to 14 rating anything above that and i'm a little wobbly in places think i have my 6 rating car mint now. cars higher than that i'm still playing with but would rather keep tweeking than rape people's settings off the forum.
so where do i sign up?

also if anyone wants a friendly practice look me up......adddictions (jay)

Hey Jay no puntting or cutting corners allowed here so if you'r up for some clean racing join us...👍

Well last night was a series of disasters choices in 6 rated cars, i thought the lotus would wipe the floor with all becase of its low down punch and it being nimble in corner's, ooh how wrong was i, o dear how wrong was i.

then i thought of the Megan but due to the lack of power it not keep up yet again but the front wheel drive was a lot more stable on the track then 4wd and WRD.
and the cosworth had the power but handles like a horse.

so i have a few more to play with but it is looking like i am going with the crowd on this one.

lol hogster
my mx5 cleanly pulled away from you the other night it was by my own stupid mistakes that i finished behind you.
300bhp and weighing as much as a king size mars bar i don't think it a bad competitor. tho i also thought the lotus would rip

Upcoming Races

Arvore has sent me great race suggestions for Weekend 2, and I'd like to ask League members who haven't yet had a chance to make suggestions to PM me on the races that they would like to run in upcoming race weekends.

Keep in mind the format is:
Manufacturer
Manufacturer or Personal Car
Personal Car

So, put some thought into it guys and send me your ideas.:)

As we say over here... There's no substitute for cubic inches. Those Mopar 426 cubic inch Hemi's put out a lot of power. Of course the trick is guiding those Lead Sleds around corners with understeer on the way in and oversteer on the way out!

In my tests the only car I've found yet that has a real chance against the muscle cars is the TT and maybe the MX5. I spent a lot of time trying to get the Honda S2000 to be competitive but it just can't quite keep up.

well that race the lotus was standard so i think it did pretty well to have been lapped  but after last night i checked the lotus HP and it was only 189 bhp and i had put on upgrades

yea i just did not want to go with the crowd on this one i was kind of hoping that i would find something different, i wish i could tune cars, tonight i think i am going to have a fiddle about and see if i can make the settings better

hell with the H pattern shift and the clutch the mx5 sure does rev funny, if my real car at my house reved like the mx 5 does in this game i would think the clutch was totally shot to pieces

Thats the problem with rated cars...:indiff:, to be competitive you have to figure out wich car is batter in that class and pretty much everyone will drive the same...it becames a manefacturer race with upgrades and tunes...or don't minding beig completly beated which is something difficult:yuck: everyone of us has a hidden champion i bet...:)

I will do some pratice sessions in about 10 min. anybody care to join?

Hey we're famous!

Oh, OK not really, but for those interested there's actually an intelligent (and intellegable) conversation on Shift physics over on the NFS Forum. Our League here is mentioned briefly (by Teeheeaid in the 9th post) in the discussion as an example of Shift racers driving without driving assists.

I knew it was only a matter of time till we hit the Big Time.

Well its good to see our talents and efforts are noticed.
It is amazing how meany people there is out there bragging amazing times but still using at least one assist.

The way i see t i pay £160 for a g25 becase i want the closed experience to a real car in my bedroom on a budget, now i really dont see nay point in paying all that if i am going to take away the realism by using assists.
