I tried NFS:Shi(f)t yesterday. It seems to be faster to drift your way around the corners than to prevent losing grip. Just doesnt feel right to me. Yes I know ... I should shut up and not play it :) Ok. Done. 👍

On topic:
It's not a real sim,i know:tdown: they promised us that:ouch::irked::grumpy: but if you forget that you might enjoy it like an acceptable arcade racer that it is...
It isn't faster to drift,drifting results of excessive speed entering the corners,you know you've found the right entry speed when your car doesn't oversteer trough the corner.But like this is an arcade game the devs coded some exagerated grip when you oversteer that allows you to regain control of the car when you shouldn't...👎 so people keep entering corners at excessive speed(myself included,race adrenaline sometimes doesn't allow you to make the best choices,ah and helps prevent being rear-ended) because they can handle it that doesn't mean they don't loose time to a proper slow in fast out aproach of the same corner,i think that a few people on this league can confirm you that...

I don't know if you ever tried to scramble with the drivers setups and find one that feels better for you...if you didn't you might want to give a try...well if you did maybe we have diferent tastes regarding videogames(in an arcade perspective understood) but what the heck at least we have similar opinion regarding StevO's gorgeous daughter,dont we?:):lol:;)

Well that is what it is about the mix between arcade and Sim, its fun if you just take away the seriousness that is for games like GT5 and super car challenge and such like.
Its fun to be able to slide corners at stupid MPH and sure it has its flaws but with the rite people this game can be enjoyed something i think we have proved with this thread.

well i moved my modem to ontop of my ps3 today and it seems a bit faster to load up pages on here so i am hoping its a bit better online :)

Hmm, I'm suprised the cursing and swearing aren't muffled more by the full hood. You're sort of a camouflaged STIG then? ....STIGmoflage? :lol:

I'm working on my SUPER SECRET NFS Shift project! 💡 Very soon i will reveal all the details.

Project it self is huge :scared: it takes almost every single hour after my daytime work. But I'm telling you that probably i am the only one who can handle it. Maybe that sounds a bit to cocky :grumpy: But for now i can't tell any details.

Stay Tunned! Because it's really worth waiting.
 
You miss! 👎 my Battleship still floating. Btw with all of those garbage you all put into this thread it's sometimes hard to get into real information about the League. You have to dig through all that off topic messages to find if there is anything interesting.

this is a fair point but the only real information for season 2 is on page 1

This is a thread for the League friends to talk about the races, cars, chat. I'm not particular on what's posted here (obviously). :)
The League originated from idle chat, so it's appropriate that we keep it informal. As addictions said, the important stuff get's posted on page one.
 
ok back at level 50 and got the DB9.

The drift made was were the points were at i could get 13,000 form 20 laps :)

Any one on tonight ???
