You know, I rarely watch hockey, but I am glad there will be a season for 2012-2013 (or just 2013 at this point). Glad a deal was arranged to save the season.

It doesn't really work like that...you play Fantasy Hockey during the season, it's based on what happens in real games.

Playoffs unchanged. It'll get a little later than usual, but the playoffs usually do go into June regardless, last year the Kings won the cup in game 6 on June 11th (I only remember that because June 11th is my brother's birthday ).

I just had the best news after the deal was announced! Tim freakin Thomas i returning next year! Yes! Also Noobie Gomez will be bought out. But what if he scores like 60 points this year? Also Del Zotto signed 2-years 5.1 mill about 2.5mill cap hit.

Regarding Gomez, he's not going to be scoring 60 points unless he turns on his PS3, the team sent him home today shortly after the deal was officially set in place. They had to do it, if he gets injured in April or something, they can't buy out an injured player in July.

I don't see why not unless he retires. Gomez is still a 3rd line NHLer, and I'm sure someone would give him a 1 year deal for somewhere around 2M.
