Tyler Seguin signed for a 6-year 34.5mill contract extension, cap hit 5.75.

Good signing, I'm a little surprised that the Bruins have locked up both Marchand and Seguin just before what is looking like another lockout. I'm just impatiently waiting for Subban to be signed. I'd be happy with a deal identical (or slightly less) than what Seguin just got.

Now is the time to sign! Why? Because aftet the deal the salaries will drop, but if the deal would be done after the new deal i think Seguin would have wanted about the same wich would have been worse because the cap is lowing.

Jacobs is one of the worst. He and Ed Snider (Philadelphia) are some of the worst snake owners in the league. The NHL as a whole would be far better off without them. Jacobs is the chair of the NHL Board of Governors, he's just as important to this (or even more so) than Bettman.

The U.Ks reason is because rugby is better!

For me, the constant stops in play in Handegg make it unwatchable, which funnily enough is why I love ice hockey. Fast, frantic and lots of big hits.

The only other thing that comes close is full-contact jousting (if only they still used solid lances).
