Does anybody know who makes these? And why? They look like shades a character from Star Wars would wear. Funky, man!

Yeah, I think Oakley makes them. One of the V8 Supercar Drivers wore them once, and Stuart MacGill did as well. I think they come around the side as well and meet at the back.

They wouldn't look so fugly if the little know on the outside edge of the lenses wasn't there. It makes it look like the original design was going to be supported by the wearer's ears, but then management changed their mind.

That's probably there because your eyes aren't round & the glasses are supposed to keep the sun out of your eyes, even on the sides.

They kinda look like they double as a helmet.
