That is where your wrong.
Tell me where I am wrong?

We both agreed on, that Ring Times doesn't really matter and we argue about exactly that for about one page.

Also, where did you hit me with facts?
You hit me with the Transmission fact, true. I already said that I was wrong and everythings cool. But what else? You said "No, the ACR does not run on Semi Slicks."

Fact is, that the ACR gets delivered with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup Tyres which ARE Semi - Slicks. BUT, nothings wrong with that. Because almost every, if not all, did their laps on Semi - Slicks. So, where did you hit me with your facts that I desperatly gave up, eh?

And don't you also think, that you ran out of arguments to tell me, if the Viper would be this good without any equipment that it has. Because now you've said "Ok back to topic"

And to answer your "nonsensical" question, why I am not getting at the GT2 RS and the Vette is because I don't give a damn about any lap time on the Nürburgring, on which conditions this was drivin or if this car does drive on Semi - Slicks or anything.
The ACR could've done this lap on Tyres made out of wood, and I wouldn't care.

The only thing I see now, that you do give a lot about lap times AND are more of a fanboy than I thought, even though the name says it all.

Well, well. Too sad.

But to stop bitching and giving me major laughs, I agree with you and say BTT.

Ahhh the mighty GTR.....

Such a presence on the road, and on the track, a marvelous sound track from its supercar slayer engine, and a price tag to make any normal petrol head think twice :P

My only problem is for those poor souls who buy them brand new..... a mate and his friend could both buy them at the same time but but cars will have different amounts of power in the region of upto 20-30bhp.... I wouldnt want to be beaten in my new GTR by ANOTHER standard GTR lol! How embarrasing! However.... the tuning capabilities for this monster are simply astounding already!

Now..... Wheres my balaclava, black water pistol, and SWAG bag?........ :P

And the fanboy comment finally rears it's ugly head. I get you now. You fought it as long as you could. But I just hit you with too many facts you couldn't refute so you resort to this nonsensical "get over it" post lol.

Ok back to topic:

Can you 2 go book yourselfs into a hotel and carry on your dissagreement in private. Then we can get back on topic PLEASE.

I wonder how the haters would feel if there would be an update to Nissan lineup with 2012/2013 GT-R that was just published.. 545bhp and 632nm, 0-62 in 2.8s..

If you see the cars around there, the GTR must be a fantastic car to be able to drive this fast.

Thank you, someone finally posts like a... real track. I get tired of all this TGTT Top Gear this and Top Gear that. Nurb is what interests me because it throws everything at the car. A much more technical track with wider variety of elements that weed out the best of the best. Most supercars today (in which I do classify GTR as a supercar) are designed to run this track or they were tuned and tested here. So quite frankly, this is where the comparison with other cars should start - not with Top Gear. Just IMO.

The Nissan GTR is an impressive car but then again I wouldn't expect anything less from Nissan in the year 2011. The GTR should be where its at today considering the work they've done with the Nissan Skyline GTRs throughout the 1990s and early 2000s. The AWD setup is probably the Skyline's most noteable attribute and while it isn't the same in the GTR Nissan's experience with it carries over extremely well for the GTR. It only makes sense that with this reported infinite grip, the GTR is suited with a potent handbuilt 500hp engine (correct me if I'm wrong, but some engines might be even more powerful than others). Couple these two strengths with the likes of a rear mounted dual clutch 6 speed semi automatic transmission and you've got a beast.

It doesn't suprise me at all that the GTR is what it is... Nissan has always been capable of making outright track cars for a long time and has always been one of the world's leading forces in sports car production. I'm just finally happy to see the gentleman's agreement has gone out the window and Japan is starting to release some incredible cars.

in straight line acceleration and top speed it does show its weight a little more. I believe the Corvette Z06 with 500hp is a little quicker through the 1/4 and definitely has a higher top speed. But then again, it isn't as stable of a car with all the oversteer and wheel spin so it makes sense that it doesn't return better lap times. Its probably pretty terrifying on the Nurb. I guess those adjustments (cup tires probably lol) were left for the ZR1.

In GT5 the GTR doesn't seem like a big deal. I expect it to be quick off the line, being one of the few cars with a 2.9 second 0-60 time. The car can only get better with better upgrades, although GT5 doesn't really specify what exactly each upgrade is. I'm also suprsied that the Skyline is given something like 800hp+ tuniing cap??? I had thought Nissan was adamant about its stock setup as being the best setup for the car.

Bit off topic: It's interesting in those industry timings how the clock is stopped at different point from where it was started. Other manufacturers do the same too. Pit safety regulations?

I noticed that too. In the previous video the crono finish (7'21") is not on same point of GT5's Nordschleife start/finish. Maybe they are not cheating or something, but it's kinda strange. Put the video at 1.10 sec, the chrono start at 0'03" I can only suppose there is a new start/finish line and the crono started from there. Dunno about other manifactures but if is true the finish laps 200 300m of what they should, well.. it's quite laughable.

Yes I thought that too, different start and finish points as far as the timers show.

:D and the excuses continue to mount up. hilarious. How bout you answer the part about why you don't get at the Vette or the GT2 RS for using those tires :sly:

Dude you don't get it.

You start a nice conversation with a german dude about gtr and the ring getting competition from USA cars.

You both are cool and nice, talk about the people on youtube hating movies etc.

But then you actually start to do it yrself the moment the ACR gets talked about.

And dude, it is just talking about it. But noooo, you suddenly change to a red dead biting vampire in the germans neck and kick him for whatever he writes at you....

You're wierd!! 👎
