Seeing as Datsun wasn't completely Nissan branded until 83 it is relevant here and the fact that it was only called the 810 under a Datsun nameplate. Spell Datsun correctly and then try to correct me.

Don't dare throw dirt on Datsun. It might be overplayed in the gaming community, but in the real world of racing those old Z's are among the elitist cars.

I have no problem with the car itsself.

Its over used in gaming. Id love to have one in real life though.

The Maxima has until recently always been a sports sedan. For as far as I can remember they put the same power train in the Maxima as was in the current model Z car.

You do know that the VQ35 is the V6 Nissan uses in most of their cars?
 
The last of the rwd Maxima SE from the mid 80s would be nice to have in GT5. I6, rwd, lightweight, and 5 speed. That and BMW 3series, Merc 190, Toyota Cressida now that would be a good DLC. "mid 80s rwd sedans"

Nobody loves the trans am :(
v8, rwd, lightweight, and five speed.
I may be partial to them because I have one and my dad has one (i was a ta baby lol(seriously I came home from the hospital in one)) but I mean come on!
The third gen was the most aerodynamic production car in the world for a LONG time and the final fourth gen was the first car EVER to pace a nascar race and not need any performance modifications. Considering they just made this big deal about nascar and all.......
 
I like Datsun. I mean, it's dat sun.

For some reason, I like Nissans and dat suns. They seem to look nice almost always.
 
I'm more into the 1981 Camaro (Gen 2) than the Trans-Am but I like them too. I had a 1986 Firebird for awhile it was a good first car.

I've owned a max. 1990 six speed. One hell of an engine. With some good tuning, wheel/tires and less restrictive exhaust, that would have been killer.
Remember that platform was used to test mechinical bits for the Z cars.
Not many V6's have pull like that. Now, I have no idea.

Ya, it was a great car. Great acceleration. I wish i still had mine. Used to drag against my friends 300z. I don't know why most of the above people are against the maxima here. After all, We have the ****ing prius in the game.

Is it forgotten that the Maxima was listed in 1995 and 96 as one of the best cars of the year by a few magazines?
In 95 it had a 0-60 of 6.7 the same 0-60 as:
1992 Chevrolet Camaro Z28
1994 Mercedes-Benz 600SEL
1993 Ford Mustang LX 5.0 Coupe
2001 Audi TT Roadster Quattro
1995 Jaguar XJR
1968 Ferrari 330 GTS
Remind me why this is a snore car. Also at the time was one of the very few V6 family cars to only be sold as a manual.

Why am I defending this where's the original poster? Yes I think one should be here but it's not, as are alot of car's I'd like to see.
