thanks :)I'll take another look at it, possibly tomorrow to work our lap times and how long each race should be :)

Just as I have a little time and there is no track list yet, I thought I'd have a small go at a draft for a track list, as so:

1--Suzuka (9 laps)
2--Monza (9 laps)
3--Autumn Ring (14 laps)
4--Special Stage Route 5 (13 laps)
5--Nurberg GP/F (9 laps)
6--Tokyo R246 (12 laps)
7--Laguna Seca (13 laps)
8--Indy Road (12 laps)
9--Monaco (14 laps)
10-Fuji GT (13 laps)

I'm not too sure about the order of the tracks or if you want to put some others in, maybe a longer track at the end, maybe Nurbergring or Circuit de le Sarthe.

And the laps might want a slight edit, I just estimated the amount of laps from a previous race series so if you want me to I can test it, or someone else can :)

They all have to be at least 10 laps long :) but looks good ... might have le sarthe in there because its a good track for overtaking with the added skill of cornering too

Is this still mased on the 2nd reverse grid race with the same number of laps?

Need grand valley or trial mountain in there too ... GT classics. Surprised they havent thought of building these iconic tracks for proper motorsport :sly:

Take out Monoco....Put in Something else. I hate that track.👎

As for 2 races, I won't be able to do the 2nd race.:indiff:

What about some of the tracks that don't get used like cape ring inside and grand valley east. Both short but quality tracks.

We should do one epic season of EVERY TRACK  I hate leaving tracks out ... if everyone was free whenever and everyone came I would put every track in haha.

Off Topic: F1 2011 - co-op championship - need a partner - anyone?

Back on topic: I havent touched GT5 since getting F1 and Ive got a feeling a lot of other people on here have done the same ... GT5 may have lost their game for a few months until the F1 season is over and people get bored. :(

I don't see why we should have at least 10 laps for some tracks. They're all intended to be the same time as last seasons races. And I did sort of plan for a reverse grid race afterwards. And I totally forgot about Grand Valley. Trial Mountain is an ok track, but I don't think it flows as well, so personally I think it should be left out, but its your choice. ;)

Every track would be ok, but there are too many tracks that people don't really like (Special Stage 7).

Off Topic: F1 2011 - co-op championship - Sorry I already have 1

That's a shame, I only really play F1 2011 for the co-op championship, the career seems quite dull compared to the co-op one and like in 2010 most of the cars drive like you're not there and it ends in crashes. The online is very similar as many people seem to think their brakes are better than everyone else's and inevitably there is a large crash on the first corner.

Basically I'm still playing GT5 a little, and I really hope this series starts within the next few weeks as I fear people might start to lose interest if it waits until the F1 season is over

Finally: (revised list)

1--Suzuka (9 laps)
2--Monza (9 laps)
3--Autumn Ring (14 laps)
4--Special Stage Route 5 (13 laps)
5--Nurberg GP/F (9 laps)
6--Tokyo R246 (12 laps)
7--Laguna Seca (13 laps)
8--Indy Road (12 laps)
9-Grand Valley (10 laps)
10-Circuit de la Sarthe (6 laps)

(The last race could be double length, with double points. I like the idea of this, however Le Mans is very kind to tyres as it's all just straight lines. Maybe nurburgring nordschleife as its a lot harder on tyres so pit stops should be required?)

I agree. The races should be certain distance divided by the length of the lap. But with the nordsleife being an exception. And maybe le man. As this is an easy going sprint series then 25miles is a good distance for each race.

Maybe a little more than that, I was hoping for around 20-25 minute races, similar to season 1.

Well, whateverrrrrrrrr! ;)
Let's just get racin!!

Sounds good to me xD

There's going to be a DLC in 4 weeks for GT5. Spec 2.0 is coming in 3 from what they say. Hopeully it will spice up the players a bit with good content inside. 👍 I agree not many people as before but I still love playing it!:sly:

As far as tracks...Cape Ring is good and Grand valley east reverse is awsome..just add more laps to it.

I don't know if you all wanna start the series before the DLC or after it to see the new tracks. (hopefully)

Start it before, but add new tracks to the end if there are good ones in the DLC?

I think we're still in the same position now though, with too few entries? :-(

I guess, but we do have 10 entries, so if the people who aren't in teams pair up, thats 5 teams. I'll ask around on PSN and get 1 more team or so, so that should make 6 teams. So I think we could start in a week or two?

We are ready....

Does this mean Ace is officially in?

Yeah....I'm in. With a partner too. (haha) We Ain't the best but we'll have fun I'm sure.:dopey:

And as long as its just 1 race...under 30 minutes or so. I'll do it.
(which it looks that way)

I think this will be a GOOD series!👍

YAY!

I guess we have enough people then, so start soon?

a 1 Race a week then to get ace into it too? Everyone happy with that?

Oh and I need a partner lol

sounds good to me.

There are 4 people who have no partners, team up?

iHealy & DjPNY
tempo0010 & FakeGangstaDIE?

I'll join the series if SRF is OFF.

It makes anyone who uses it stupidly fast compared to without, unlike traction control etc.

I'll also need a team mate (preferably with mic)

I would love to join this sign me up

psn : skengdigi

but i also agree that there should be no skid recovery force , so please clarify on the use of this aid please

im open to join anyones team who needs a teammate

Okay SRF can be off then ...

choose your partners ... dont want people changing teams halfway through

Bloody hell ihealy, you gave in a bit easy there! Not sure everyone will be ok with this but for me, it's a good thing.

Good for me too. Although probably not very quick I'd always prefer to drive with zero aids
