I recently bought a Nissan Silvia, i put the best parts in it. The silvia is hard to drift, so i was thinking if i should put ballast in the back to make the rear swing around easier.

The silvia is probably THE most drifted car in GT4. So, it's very possible to drift stock. Your techniqu is what is suffereing. Follow drift king's advise and check out some faqs then give it another shot.
