I remember the Maxima had that “spine” on the roof from that GT-R Concept. I didn’t realise it was a sunroof on the Maxima until a coworker bought one back when it was new.

Nissan sure got their money's worth out of that platform. 18 years for the same car is pretty nuts.

It's like the Zonda. 'The Final One' is only the final one until the next final one is built. There's clearly another, a white Nismo(?), still on the production line behind them. ;)

It lasted so long it went from being the villain of "modern" soulless performance cars to a stick used to beat the Zupra with.

The fact the Omori Factory will more than likely eventually allow R35s to be brought back and re-tailored under the CRS moniker makes this an even more appropriate comparison. They'll even have the same 2-year wait time.

That's just a 4 point lift. Probably undergoing post line inspection or repairs. Very common.

I can't believe it doesn't look dated after 18 years. Every time I see an R35 I think it's a good looking car.
Even on the unfrequent occasion of catching an old, unmodified one on the road, they still look pretty fresh. I suppose when it was first released it didn't look much like anything else on the road at the time, and no one else has really gone and made anything to echo it since then either. The only thing that has aged it is its size. In 2007 it appeared huge. As other cars have grown around it, it now looks pretty average in size.
