No Activation email

I never received an activation email and I tried to resend it through the Search FAQ.... but nothing is showing up in my email inbox. Is there something that can be done about this?
 
Your ISP is most likely blocking the email from getting to you. Try this:

1. Go to www.optonline.net
2. Click "ID & E-Mail Tools" in the upper right corner
3. Click "Manage Your Optimum ID"
4. Sign-in with your user name and password.
5. In the drop down box select "Modify Spam Setting" and click Go.
6. Click "Disable SpamScrub".

Then, try re-sending the activation codes. Let me know if that helps.
 
You can actually make posts in the Site Feedback forum without activating your account (in case someone is having this sort of trouble). Unfortunately, Gus, I'm afraid I am out of ideas - your ISP must be blocking these emails in a way that neither you nor I can control. You'll need to create another email account or use another address that you may have access to.
 
I just received 6 emails requiring me to activate my membership. I have no clue why they came so late. But, anyway i'm all activated now! 👍
 
Glad you got it worked out! That is strange, though, as there was only one message sent to your address according to the server's email logs. Thanks for letting me know how it eventually worked out for you. 👍
