So I got my new computer with my old Windows XP key off my old HP computer working fine and dandy but...

Whenever I try to open any pictures in Microsoft Photo Editor 3.01 I get "no file format can be found in the registry" and of course the picture doesn't show up.

Any quick fixes? I'm trying to print some PS2 covers (got a few games from gamestop with no covers and I want it to look a bit better than a blank white piece of paper with some dumb art work and printed text) and maybe if I can just get some software to print at 10.75x7.25 (can't get it to work in my HP All in one 1610 printer software) I used M$ photo editor to set the print margins correct...maybe some other software to print the pictures properly would be a better fix.

I had trouble printing the images in the right size but I found a quick fix (using DVD print cover software)...and I love Paint.net! :D
