No more levels after lvl 40

When at home awake, I'm racing.
When I'm at home asleep my Bob's are racing.
When I'm at work my Bob's are racing.

Those bastards play more than I do, they should've bought the damn game!

So what I've gleaned from this thread, level 35 is where to stop B spec.
I don't give a rats a@@ about trophy's so once I get the X1 I'm done with it until they give me an update that lets me and my Bob's race together.

Yeah, getting to 35 is not so so bad really. It's when you start the 35 to 40 where it becomes an insane amount of exp needed per level. Which = many 24hr races.

this.... and this is if you have no issues at all. We had a power outtage last week. Lost a 9 hour race... the 1.05 update the other night signed me out of the PSN and wouldn't let me sign back in, lost 17 hours of a race then. So good luck to all doing it as well. Pray for no issues, freezing PS3's, etc, etc.....

Cause Bob is making money while i sleep, while i eat, while i watch TV ... etc.

You know, I do not understand how the developers (Kaz) thinks this is enjoyment... Grinding out levels over and over just to get there... if you want it this way, make more events, so folks do not have to race over and over same race same circuit or even use super HP class cars just to move on.

Exactly!!!! Who possibly thought it would be a good idea for us to start a race, and come back hours later to see the result. Even if you had to manage the driver the whole way though, it's just pressing a button. Just give us the prize cars and cash the first time we enter the race, straight after we start the race, if you have to use this for giving out extra prize cars. Or even heaven forbid give us more A Spec races and make us have fun and get them ourselves.

B-Spec is the worst fail ever. At least in GT4 you could use it to do the boring races for you, or help out in the long races in A-Spec to make them possible.

Same here, it's more of headache than fun :grumpy:. Apart from the driver being a complete idiot already, I can't speed up or fast foward the playing, I have to watch

THIS x1,000,000!!! If B-Spec Bob were usable in my A-Spec endurance races I'd be totally fine with B-Spec and the boringness of it all. At least there would be a reason to build up my racers. The way B-Spec is set up, it's just building up for... nothing. Sitting there watching a hapless computer controlled AI driver do dumb things for hours on end is agonizing. There really is no reason to the whole separate B-Spec mode beyond prize cars meaning it won't be touched when it's over. B-Spec is a vast waste of space.

If your only goal is to reach level 40 as fast as possible, then yeah. Why not do it over time, like the game was meant to be played? It's not something you pick up for a week and play for 15 hours a day in race to get to the end..

That's the same for me. Although if I want free credits, I can see myself firing up the 9h race when I'm leaving for work, and maybe doing it again when I go to sleep. Then again, I sincerely doubt that I'll be short on credits when I reach that point. We'll see what happens. As it is right now, I'm 24 on A-Spec and 21[I think] on B-Spec.

I have to admit, my B-Spec is catching up to my A-Spec very quickly. Absent-minded grinding is much more convenient when I don't have to hold the controller. The other day I was on my laptop while grinding the American Indy and just holding the controller with one hand during the straights. It happened more than once that I wasn't looking and my poor 'Vette slammed right into the wall (still won, though! That ZR1 RM is amazing).

I think B spec should have only been implemented until the Extreme Races.

The enduros should be combo A/B races.

Seems much more purposeful, building up your drivers to tackle the endurance races WITH you.
incentive to get him up to scratch is to be able to hand over to him mid 24 hour race or what ever.

having it completely seperate hampers what coulda been a great experience.

I'm lvl 23 on A-spec and lvl 27 on b-spec. B-spec is AWESOME because I can play while I work (and rationalize it too), dont hate.
 
Congrat's mate on getting it done:tup:, for those of you that have hit B-spec 35 roughly how many races does it take 34-35? i'm about 15 mins off hitting 34...

I will be grinding the arse out of B-Spec until the 27th when the AMG event opens, after that I dare say it will be a 9hr a night deal to 40 methinks...

B-Spec is awesome if you do it right it's easy money and it cashes you up so you can enjoy A-Spec with no regard for cash, hell i've grinded from a civic plenty times before in earlier GT's, I just want to get in there and drive an 800hp fully cocked GT-R or something I don't want to drive some stock ******* until I can afford an air filter and muffler etc etc...

Yep, I just did the 9hr run like 6 times when I was there at those levels. When I got to 35, it's just 24 hour runs over and over and over. Darn PS3 just sits here and runs by itself 24/7 now. :(

all that mate, plus my bob cocking up in a superior car and finishing 6th in the 24h.

i started the race with race soft, then it changed to race rain whn it started to rain and then, the cockers just swapped to race hard when rain stopped while everyone else was using race soft.

Just hit lvl 40 in B-Spec 15mins ago (and received nothing for it might I add), and I can confirm that there are no more levels after lvl 40, at least in B-Spec. Any experience gained afterward will not add to anything. The exp bar simply stays empty while your exp amount stays at the amount required to get to lvl 40. Just thought I'd clear that up for everyone =D

LOL right on bro! (B)oring Spec... that is an instant classic.
 
You do get a FREE FGT or Ferrari F1 for completing the Bspec 40 Nurburgring Endurance. At end of race you get a Free Level 24 Car Ticket which turns out a FGT or Ferrari F1 for most people. I'm bspec 39 and 1 day away from being bspec40. It was a great fun ride, now it's time to continue aspec.
