This is quite difficult to explain but I'll do my best and it probably doesn't deserve its own thread but I don't know what thread to post it in.
I've just been trying to set a better time in the tuned car and I was on a lap where at the first split I was definitely slightly faster than my PB I had set a few laps before and I was sure I extended that lead in the 2nd sector right up to the ponit where you get the 2nd split time (down the short straight in the middle of the circuit) as it displayed the split time (which is white) but it didn't display the split difference time (which is red if your slower or blue if your faster). I then completed the lap just to make sure I got the split difference times at the other splits and I did but because I was so distracted at the 2nd split all my good work was lost
.
I can only guess this was because I didn't actually do as well as I thought in the 2nd sector and must have lost a bit of time resulting in the extremely rare occurrence where my time at the 2nd split must have been exactly the same as the one on my PB lap. The thing is though that I'm sure I have done the same thing on time trials on GT5P and I'm pretty sure it displays 00:00.000 in red as apposed to nothing at all.
So my question is has anyone else noticed this and if so do you think it was because of setting exactly the same time? As I said it is probably very rare for anyone to set exactly the same fastest split times so I'm not expecting many of you to have experienced this but I cant be the only one.
