Does anyone know how to get the diablo or if it even exists in the American version?

Something like the body or such is removed, but with some help from Mr. MK or your general cheating device you can get one. Now, can one of the friendly neighborhood mods move this to the Hybrids and Gamesharks section?

Welcome to GTP, nismoGTR! At the top of the GT3 forum is a stickied thread entitled "Look here before you ask!", and if you scroll down to Cheats/Tricks, there's a link for "How to get the Diablo". So, please use that thread in the future before asking, and also try the Search function.

It's not available in any race. You can only get it via Gameshark or Sharkport/Xport.

The link works fine for.

Also a search for Nomad Diablo would have cleared this up quickly. OR hell, even reading one of the threads noted at the top of this forum.

Every single link works.

But, to clear the facts up just for you (where's that spoon?):
Nomad Diablo is unavailable through normal play in all but Japanese NTSC version.
Nomad Diablo is available in US NTSC version by cheating - either enter the appropriate codes in with your Gameshark/other cheat cart or enter the car into your garage with the GT3gEdit programme and upload back to your PS2 with an Xport.
Nomad Diablo is totally unavailable in EU/PAL versions.
It doesn't have 7 gears.

There aren't alot of hybrid and other game codes available for the v3/v4 but here is a link to sinned's page hopefully you can find some coding there to help you

Would it be possible to trade the Diablo from a japanese PAL save, to a NTSC...?

No, unfortunately, you can't trade across video formats. However, Japan and North America are on NTSC, whereas Europe and Oceana are on PAL.

If you have an NTSC game save with the Diablo in it, you can simply buy it into another save at cost (1 million cr or so). That's how I got mine: someone mailed me a memcard with the car on it, and I traded it into my garage and mailed it back.
