non paintable cars only have 1 color?

I have noticed that some of the cars you CANT paint only come in one color is this true?

e.g

1971 plymouth cuda: Purple

1970 chevelle SS: Light blue with black stripes

Audi R8 race car '01: silver/yellow

Does anyone have these cars in a different color?

I think the two Nismos are single colour, the 270R and the 400R neither can be painted.

You cant paint the Citroen Xsara 03 (black)

AND you CAN paint the Camaro LM Race Car (erase the 3 color scheme for a pure one)

No non paintable cars can have many colours.

Example the Formula GT:
* You can not paint it.
* It comes in many colours.

Generally they are race cars with the official team colours, sometimes the team had several colours, so these can be available. Difficult to find out at this moment which colours do exist.

The 1969 Camaro from the UCD only seems to come in Burnished Brown Metallic & can't be painted. Yet I've seen that car in a few different colors in races on track.

400R comes in 3 colors.

You can only get the Silver 400R from the UCD, plus you can't paint it. I'm sure that the Yellow or Black 400R can be obtained by recieving a random prize ticket, or if it shows up in the OCD in one of those two colours. I think a Black one did show up in my OCD some time ago.

Some cars do only come in one color sadly, unless won via a ticket. I've heard that some of the Super Touring Cars (the FTO, the RX-7 and the Impreza) while they clearly have numerous colors, only one shows up in the UCD.

I bought a '63 Vette race car from UCD and it came in a metallic light blue color, which is the only color I've ever seen it in races or otherwise. I'd be interested to see if anyone owns one of these that is not a light blue metallic.

EDIT: it's also non-paintable which is sad I wanted a black '63 vette w/decals

Last I checked, mygranturismo doesn't let you specify colours. It just shows the default, and since blue with black stripes IS the default UCD car..... I'll let you figure it out

You can buy the 69 camaro from the new dealership and have different colors.

On the Chevelle instance, mine is tuxedo black with white stripes.

They're not the same. The 1969 Camaro from the new car dealership is the Z28 model, which has a 302 cubic inch V8. The 1969 Camaro from the UCD is the SS model, with the 350 cubic inch V8.

The Chevelle sounds awesome, straight out of the movie "Dazed & Confused". It's also my favorite color comination on those cars. 👍

Yes you can paint the camaro LM. It only paints the top half of the car as the bottom stays white. I put a white paint chip on mine and it looks pretty good all white with the decals.
