Noob Question about Photo Converting

Hi guys,

How do I change the .max photos into a usable format? I'm using an AR Max to transfer the files to my ccomputer from the PS2.

cant you just open that file in photoshop and save as jpg ???\

Itsead of taking the shot off the memory card directly, you should transfer them to a UBS flash drive. There is a list of compatible ones stickied at the top of the forum page.

If you're saving your images to the memory card instead of a USB device, I'm not sure there's any way of getting them into a useable format, since they're not saved in .jpg form. You can't open a .max file in Photoshop, since it could be any game save.

And save them directly onto the USB stick. IIRC when saving on MC first, the pic gets compressed and looses quality, isn´t it?

I am not sure, because I never saved on MC. But I think I remember that I have heard about it somewhere sometime...

Photos saved to Sony Memory Card is compressed down to approximately 100kb, resulting in minor artifacting when displayed on a computer monitor. Photos saved to USB storage is approximately 250-300kb.

I save mine to the memory card, go to the garage place, pic which ones I like, then transfer my favs to a flash card (usb stick). My pics are usually over 200kb on the memory card, at least that's what GT4 says. I didn't know you could save directly to the flash card from photomode.
A lot of times, where there are minute color changes, like in a shot with a lot of sky, you can see the difference in shades. But that might be my old-school monitor. I'm not down with computers, so I don't really know.

i suggest u save all your shots on the flash drive beacuse the images eat up alot of memory card space, ive stored ~150 images on my drive with plenty of room to spare. When its full ill empty it out and have it backed up on my hardrdrive.
