Gt5 isn't loading on my ps3. I get to the main loading screen and IT wouldn't load! I tried to take the disc out and put it back in and restart it but nothing is working! What should I do??

Sounds like my fan died too I checked too see if the back is hot and after 10 minutes it was hot as hell! I gotta go get an exchange I guess...

YESSSSS! joke only. Clean the laser head first - search utube, done this before by damping a cotton swab with a piece of Alcohol Prep pad (square) not from an alcohol bottle as it will be too much alcohol. Goodluck dude.

Hope you got the 2 yr warranty on it. That's what I did when I got it from Best Buy. No way I'm dropping that kinda dough and not getting it covered. Who knows, when 23 months come up, I might break it just to get a new one.

i got a diffrent problem i get 2 the main gt5 menu and the arrow to choose a game mode wont show up and the news thing doesnt load but my other account loads up???

ye exactly but i restared the game like for the 6th or more time and it loaded up fine im so happy it made so nevous i saved the game right away when i got to my gt life page i hope u guys get yours to load . same ps3 as the guy in link to?

If your fan has surely died, then it is most likely due to overheating. However, if the system is overheating, then the PS3 should've automatically shut down to prevent any damage to the system.

Your problem may also be network related. You might be experiencing a problem trying to connect to the GT5 servers. Try signing out of PSN and loading the game signed out.

If the former is not the case, then your data may be currupted (game data, not save data).

There are a lot of reasons why GT5 might not be loading for you.

Try disconnecting from the net before loading .. then log in after the game is loaded i found sometimes this helps when the game hangs ( don't know why but sometimes it loads quicker)

+1 for the network issues. It happens to me occasionally. Clearing the network cache in GT5 options seems to help it some (not sure if that is mentioned in the other thread). First thing I do when my game freezes is disconnect the ethernet cable.
