What a blast. Maybe more because it took so long for me to get a fresh one, but a blast to drive anyway.

07:41:497 - BMW M3 GTR '03 (DDAAVVIIDD82) BEATEN

Snapped a few shots of the M3 and will post them in the new shots thread over in the photomode forums as well as one (probably the one as I shot over the hill at Schwedenkreuz) here...as soon as I can find my flash drive that is. Made a couple of mistakes that slowed me down noticeably, so don't be surprised if I post an update in a bit. Oh and nice avatar Manuelos. ;)

Caught the grass under the lefthand side of the car, however the wind was blowing toward the pivot of the turn at Schwedenkreuz and makes it look like I had to have gotten all four off the track.

Yes I did, but I was faster with the tune from EDK

Alright, yeah i think the tune needs to suit the driving style, there was a good mix of tune. :)

I remember you asking me my username i think, thx for posting! :)

Only thing to add is a ''0'' before 7:36.880, it would be 07:36.880
and you dont need the tire wear ''on'', the rest is good :)

i will update the spreadsheet this weekend if i have enought free time.

No problem :)
Feel free to add new lap time anytime ;)

Oh, another question.

Do you need to run all cars on Sport Hards, or is it ok to run on i.e Sport Softs if theye come stock with a sertain car?

Cause I fit all my cars with Sport Hards hot lapping Nordschleife.
Looking at the board, I can see some sick lap times.

And believe me, I know I'm far from the fastest guy around, but some lap times are just out of this world imo.
Could it be that some of the cars in the list is run on a softer compound?
I totally understand that some cars come with Sport Mediums etc, so I'm not saying some one cheats or anything. Just asking. 👍

And if I'm guessing correct (that some cars are fitted with softer compounds from the dealership), would'nt it be a good idea to just mark each car with what tyres theye come with as stock?

Something like:

07:36.880 - BMW M3 CSL '03 (SH) (Denilson) BEATEN

Production cars (stock) are to be driven with the stock tyres. So the tyres they're equipped with when you buy them from the dealer 👍 Or at least this is my understanding. :)

Fuel/Tyre Wear: ON
Hmm, I can't find anything in the rules about that, but I think everyone's running with the fuel/tyre wear OFF

And believe me, I know I'm far from the fastest guy around, but some lap times are just out of this world imo.
You have to know that there are some pretty fast drivers in here

I was wondering if I could submit a time to the tuned cars open class. I have been running a lot at the Ring with a 500PP NSX-R online (Racing Soft I am n00b). I know its hard to police PP limits unfortuantly.

Let me know :), and I will try set a time.

Nothing in the rules say that you have to have fuel/Tyre wear on. It's just the way I run my cars. Grip is slightly lower, but the car feels more realistic imo. 👍

I know that some drivers are super fast. But I know I'm not like 15 seconds off pace.
After looking some of the cars up, I can see that they come with a softer compound then what I use.

As I said, I equip all my cars with sport hards, no matter what they come with from the dealership.
And I can assure you that I would never post a time in here if the car I drove come with comfort softs or harder from the dealership (since I equip all my cars with sport hards, even the ones who come with comforts).
I'm really serious about beeing honest. 👍

I just wanted to get things straight. And everything is crystal clear now. 👍

Denilson,
Timppaq and Manuelos are right, for the production category, you need to run the car the way it is when you buy it, if its comfort soft, you run comfort soft etc.. and no rule said you cant use tire wear and fuel, but i think everyone dont use it. :)

GTP_CICO, you are more than welcomed to post your lap time if it is a new time, or if it beat an already existing time for the car you are running.

Sutuki... lol at least you could have waited a entire day before beating mine!!:D
i knew there was more in the NSX but decided to post and update later, not sure if ill update now lol , thats some very good laps, well done! 👍

Aww come on Manu! :p :( You obliterated my time in the Alfa GTV Spider, kudos to you..

Sorry, did that lap 2-3 days ago... :p but hey, the car can go faster than that anyway! ;)

Its alright mate :p, just messing with you :D,
i had just a quick session with it, its great car with good potential! i will probably give it a try later :)

edit: tried the NSX '02 again for another short session, got 7:32.910, i was quit nervous at mid part of track and missed some apex:ouch:, and braked too late on the last corner... :( id say i could do low 7:32 with a lucky lap.

not sure if i will have the focus and calm to do a clean full lap though.:scared:

cant believe my first lap submission with this car was 7:45.xxx :D

Yes, I fighured that was the case, especially when looking at some of the times on the board that are impossible (for me at least) to achive with sport hards (i.e the S2000 GT1 Turbo. Comes with sport softs).

And I also understand that you guys run with tyre wear "OFF". It's just that I run all my cars with tyre wear set to "ON". Guess I'm just used to that. ;)

I'm looking much forward to start posting up some times. 👍

cheers

Holy crap on a cracker!!! Anyway, only able to add to the list with one right now:

08:39.971 Toyota ALTEZZA RS200 '98 (DDAAVVIIDD82) UPDATE

Tackled the McLaren F1 again and managed to get four or five car lengths ahead of my 06:56.018 ghost but I got a little overzealous through Hohenrain and put the car into the barrier. :ouch:

On another note, whose leg to I have to hump to get this thread stickied?

Dont worry i will keep the thread updated and up as long as i can update. :)
Thx for posting guys, will update soon.

Tuned:

06:29.944 - Nissan GT-R SpecV '09 (DDAAVVIIDD82) NEW

Full weight reduction, first two stages of engine upgrades, semi-racing exhaust and sports air filter. Fully customizable transmission and suspension. 805hp and 1362kg, 636pp thanks to rear downforce. Sport Softs and stock torque splitter with a functional front differential.

Got a little dicey with more power and the stock 70/30 drivetrain split. I'll probably do an 80/20 or 85/15 and prep the thing fully before I try to beat that time.
