Tokyo R246 (race #5) RESULTS

Pole: Shrugging_Atlas
Fastest lap: mustardaddict??? 1:35.xxx

Close racing with Jav & MustardAddict in the first 5 laps...then they managed to take each other out while I was watching from behind and just just squeezed past them... from then on it was a bit lonely. Looking forward to the finale!

I actually got off a few 1:35s chasing down Jav.... So I had the fastest lap. But the Lexus drives like a marshmallow, LOL. Lots of contact & crap driving on my part. Just a bad day for me, and no practice which killed me.
 
Sorry about that Rich! Forgot that the fast lap indicated on screen during the race was just my own, not overall, duh!

Suzuka Season Finale Race Results

Pole position: Shrugging_Atlas 1:55.5xx
Fastest lap: MtBeR4LiFe889 1:55.829

In spite of the low attendance I had another great race battling for the lead with MtB until lap 13 when I finally broke away just before the pit stop. From then on I was just trying to keep the pace and stay on the road. MtB was slowly closing the gap with fresh tires but around lap 20 he must have gone off road as the gap jumped by 5 secs or so. In the closing stages I lapped tr1mble who kept up with me almost until finish, he looked fast, I couldn't shake him with my tires going again.

Sorry for missing the race. I had to dedicate time into building my T500 RS cockpit. Here is what I got done so far. Hoping to be ready for paint by Tuesday.

It will be skinned with sheet metal. This one may look pretty good finished. It is a left side exit only set up. Got few ideas rolling around. We'll see what tomorrow brings.

it was a really fun race, and season :)

i was comfortly in 3rd place going into lap 4 keeping a steady 3-4 sec behind 1st and 2nd place, then my wife started blowing up my phone...so on the 3rd strait call i reached for my phone causing me to go right into the sand...all she wanted to know was if i wanted anything from Wendy's lol

after she got home around lap 14 she must have walked in front of the tv 10 times...but when you live in a 1 bedroom apt. it's tuff not to....i must have passed jepoks then wiped out 3-4 times

when i was running with you atlas was when she was in the kitchen eating...then when she finishes she starts talking to me causing me to go into the sand again ....

i really need a basement ;)

Okay, I want that cockpit lol. I'll get results up tonight.

More importantly, there was interest in a second season. So what do you guys think? Shall we give it another go? What did you like about the season? What can we improve upon?
 
i would love to have a 2nd season....since i was never able to find a tune to help me out with, it took me a while to get the Mobile 1 dialed in...but i think these last 2 races i was really on my game...take away a few mistakes and i would have been placing alot better

Also we do have a core 6-8 people always racing, so i think we should at least try a 2nd season..
 
Final results posted! Congrats to everyone. We had some pretty close points races all over.

Thanks everyone for the great season. I will be starting a season 2 thread shortly, we can discuss the changes and improvements to implement there.
 
I'm sorry I had to leave suddenly guys, I really had a blast this season some good racing and some great racers in this series! I am definitely looking forward to season 2!
