not many ppl on ps3 online

I really hope they do something to help the online. The only online I've been able to get in on is the driver duels, and that is absolute fail. I get wrecked by some assclown in every race. It doesn't make me hopeful for the rest of the online experience.

As for EA great job for not letting players join the room while racing which causes lag...Forza and gt5 can learn from this.

I've never experienced any lag when people join my room on GT5. I don't recall it happening on FM3 either.

How does it work if you want to join a friends lobby on Shift? Do you still have to wait then? I have quite a few friends that I race with on GT, and if they weren't able to join whilst I was racing, I'd probably never see them online due to the fact most races I do are 10 lap minimum with only 5 mins between each race for qualifying.

I'd like to pick this game up once the input lag issue is sorted, but this would be a big game breaker for me.

This is what I'm talking about this dud has about the same IQ as the snotty nose kids they play ps3 shift 2.

maybe you should learn how to spell DUDE! Maybe then you can talk about IQ its just weird that you seem to know what PS3 players know and dont know. How the heck can you generalize like that. That is what makes you ignorant and truly imature how can you sterotype a whole comunity ?

I played a couple of quality online games last week. This week, I tried two. Both times, I got purposely crashed off the track by someone smoking into me from behind going into a corner. It's soured the experience for me. I like the idea of online racing, but not when crashing is a tactic rather than an accident.

For the lag on gt5 when players join while your racing 90%of the time it lags for a split second and can screw you up if your in a corner.And on gt5 during a 5 lap race you can have alot of players coming and going and their names pop up left side which is very annoying.

Just invite your friends before the race I'm pretty sure they can only join when your in the lobby even if you invited them.

As for sterotyping the whole community read the 1st post it says MOST I have alot of good racing friends on ps3.Also read what the other posters are saying about their experience on shift 2.I'm a betting man and I BET your one of the ones that ram other players for your brakes....
