As you can see this is not my first post but I never got around to this part.. so here goes..
How did you find GTPlanet?
It's hard to avoid it, you guys are all over the net. This is the top location for everything GT.
Where are you from?
Lanarkshire in Scotland, The home of the late Colin McRae.
When did you start playing the Gran Turismo games?
I think GT2 was my first venture, although I ended up moving to PC games for some time. coming back for a dabble with GT4 then GT5P.
Do you play with a steering wheel?
Yes I have the Fanatec Turbo S with clubsport pedals, a lightning SST shifter and VR3 Racing RIG. This is hooked up to my PC, XBOX360, and PS3.
What other games do you enjoy?
I like first player action games on the PC, as well as the racing genre on the PC, I've had a go with iracing, and almost all the PC racing games! I'm also into flight sim and have done some software and Scenery design for Flight Sim, and I've dabbled with track design in rfactor on the PC.
What are you most looking forward to doing in the community, now that you're a part of this site?
Sharing our collective experiences and racing with a group of Individuals who know that the race finishes at the chequered flag and not in the first bend! who race cleanly and with intelligence!
And in addition, promote the genre of Racing, as I think that since autosport is'nt as affordable as it could be. A lot of the future talent will be honing skills in this sort of environment.. who knows perhaps I'll get to race against a current or future world champion
As I said I'm not so new, so far this looks like an excellent place and the home of GT Racing.. It'll be interesting with the launch of GT5 with it's online features to see if that has any impact on GTPlanet lets hope not.
