I've wanted one of these for years, my mate has one. I've never seen a cardboard box dissapear so fast

I got shot in the eye by an airsoft pistol once, a springloaded one. If it hadn't been spring loaded, I'd be an eye short, methinks. I was blind in that eye for three days: everything looked like a mass of gray with sploches of darker gray where things were shadows or dark colors.

All in all, though, airsoft is pretty cool stuff. The realistic weight of many airsoft "guns" is nice for urban gaming. Of course, I live on a military housing installation, so airsoft isn't exactly...smart.

And besides, you probably have access to bigger and better (:

Sorry to hear about the eye. I have two stories to go with that. In elementary school a kid in my glass got a dart thrown in his eye. Sucks to be him. Then in high school my best friend shot another friend in the eye with a slingshot. His pupil filled with blood and they rushed him to the ER. He's all better now, but it was a freaky couple of hours.

Ten years later we are all much more careful around eachothers' faces - these parts are difficult to replace.

Uh...not really. I'm only 17 and the SP/SF/whatever they call 'em these days only carry Beretta M92Fs, cruddy 9mm pistols, not M4s or anything remotely like that chaingun airsoft thing. lol Ocassionaly there will be road blocks at some of the entrances and they may have M16s and a shotgun up there, but I wouldn't say it's accessible.

Anyone know the legal age to own a handgun in the US? I want a USP one of these days.
