we will get ft1 vgt and customizable lug nuts to last us another 2 months.
 
PD doesn't like telling anyone about things.
 
The FT1 VGT will be released on September, some people think the Subaru and Alfa Romeo's VGT will release in this next update. :D

I saw what you did there. ;) I like F-- too, but not as much. The bots are almost as bad as the ones in GA, the driving isn't as intuitive, and the driver views are meh. But darn, you can create race cars till... your 360 red rings. I hope I get mine back by this weekend... :p

I hope all the vroom vroom! fans realize that all the wonderful car sounds in the world won't improve the physics, or the bot A.I., or add new cars, or new tracks, or new features. And look, the community features are sorely lacking. Even as limp as GT5's online system was, it was better than GT6's. Arcade Mode was gimped in GT6. The club and league features might be almost as much of a bear as the Livery Editor and getting Zahara right. But we need those. GT6 needs gameplay. I would argue that the FIA partnership needs to start manifesting in racing league type stuff for GT6, and a lot more of it in GT7.

Something is coming though. Frooky server antics over the weekend would just need a reboot. This is a sign of something substantial. Maybe it's Zahara. Maybe it's some racing oriented stuff, which would include a new track, Event Maker, Livery Editor, Race Mod, new modification options, new cars, new Base Model cars, an upgrade to online features, Leaderboards, upgrades to the Standards - I know you guys couldn't wait for that! :D

Something will come this month, maybe tomorrow. As with all things GT, we'll see.
 
There isn't anyone to announce Zahara, like Red Bull announced the Red Bull Ring, other than PD.

So I highly doubt there would be a last minute announcement prior to an update, even if it is coming.

Although i do see you point. However, you said "I wish people would stop talking about maintenance". if you meant "I wish people would stop talking about random fictional updates and keep on the topic of maintenance", that would have made more sense.

Oh and also, this thread has now degenerated into trying to get as many likes as possible by posting as many stupid memes as possible. This thread really doesn't need too exist, but if you want it to make sense, then change the thread to 'Maintenance speculation' or something.
 
Almost 9 hours for the update and I'm bored already

Haha, I just had too. Hopefully I get my PS3 to work again so I can prepare myself for the upcoming updates.

Oh I was, believe me. But not a member, just a lurker. I didn't pay attention to the amount of posts in a certain amount of time, I just focused on the info.

Edit: I was just thinking, and the only reason I pointed out the amount of posts is most likely because I have nothing better to do right now while stressing and waiting for what may/may not come :lol:

I'd be willing to bet that an update will come after the 2nd maintenance period. Just wait until then.

In the meantime, this is a good opportunity to write any whiny bullcrap you may have (and most of you do) to post for afterwards.

Just a thought. If it was for v2 the first maintenance could have been to ensure that the servers are working with v2 and quick test could happen to ensure servers will upgrade well with all the data, then for the second is to allow quick bug fixes found with the huge update and the second one to allow them a day to fix bugs then release.

Another thought is to allow test of getting the track maker a day to record gps data then next day to upload to the server and test making tracks. Then ok tests and release, remember it was in beta a few months ago, it could be released
