Notifications on Mobile

I've noticed a few days ago that when I use Facebook on Chrome on my smartphone (Android), I'm able to get notifications (the same way if I used the Facebook app). Is there anyway to have the same for GTPlanet?

I think I have asked about it before and somebody said that it isn't possible.

I use Chrome on Android also.

Out of any site only FB done that i suppose. Not even Google apps.

GTP would be out of reach at that point.

If such functionality is added to the core forum software it's something I would seriously consider, depending on its implementation details. I would prefer GTPlanet push notifications were delivered through the site's own native app, though.

Seriously though, we're in much need of such. There's gotta be someone out here who makes them.
