I let off the gass to get away from the wall a bit and my revs were low so it caught fast, it does kinda look like I hit the wall tho.

All of the cars were highly tuned and I spent a good amount of time on the setups as well. All of them had between 350 and 450hp (cept for the LMO RX-7 which had 517 or somtn like that) and were running on sim tires front and back.

oopsy, sorry cuda bro, I never saw your 2nd vid ^-^ Your first one is the reason I worked my ass off for 6 months just to buy a PS2 and GT3, so I could DRIFT!! MUAHAHA, hehe.
Heh, you should watch my 2nd video sometime. We even used the same video effect during a couple of the climaxes in the song (the fast fade into and out of a white screen). I feel so... ripped off. ;) And you have the same name as me. Have I been cloned? :odd: ;)

AMAZING VIDEO MAN. I was going to ask if you use sims or not. this is one of the best vids I have seen since Grand Dorift 1/2. I want to make a video sometime. I just need a video capture card and time. Then I can show GTP what you can do with a pair of racing slicks and a little bit of a laterial acceleration:). If I do make a video, I can garuantee you won't be let down.

BTW, Cudaman, when can we expect a Grand Dorifto 3? and when would be a good time for you to battle?

rock.

Hmmm, I just watched your 2nd vid bro, not alot of linking, but it was still pretty cool, I noticed you went of the track quite a bit, you even hit a cone o_0 not quite as good as what I expected from you, but still a cool vid. That hybrid teg is awesome :)

Some of those angles are great, especially in that yellow IS300, great stuff. Shows me just how far I still have to go.

Do you know what hitting a wall is. It seems you dont understand. ANyone could point that out. You were coming in with your Chaser and you hit the inner wall of the turn. Dont act like you dont know what I'm talking about.

I didnt hit the wall..... ur talking about in the tunnel right, when I apex the corner? I didnt hit the wall, I'm telling you, I know it looks like it,but I promise you I didnt, i would know, I was the one driving... Anyways, I dont care, believe me or not, its up to you, but I have no reason to lie...

Silviadrifter also said you hit the wall. People in the IRC channel did also. i have the loggs. If i could ask somone else on this board. they would say you hit the wall..

ok, well I didnt, and I dont care who says what, I will always know I didnt. I think its pretty immature that you have to argue about it.

You're arguing about it as well. It takes two to argue bro. ;)

Is it the turn in the tunnel with the red... GT-R? that everybody is arguing about?

I don't think that was it hitting the wall... it looks like either a bad frame or the car shifted in the drift...

No, it's the Chaser going thru the tunnel. The bumper-cam one. At least that's what I think they're talking about.

he hit the wall like once or twice and the ending (fukai(forest) mori(i forgot about this one) its seems it doesn't belong there for some reason

That's no hybrid, it's just a mildly modified Teg. :) Gotta remember this video is pretty old, I don't remember the date but most of the footage is around 2 years old. I've improved a lot since then. :) I've got some killer stuff waiting to go in GD3. I just have to get the motivation to do it.

If you want ubercool linking action, check out my two entries into the early days of the GTP drift competitions. They're a little more recent. How does linking the first 12 turns at SSR5 sound? :D Vids are here: http://f1.pg.briefcase.yahoo.com/bc/4ages@sbcglobal.net/lst?.dir=/Bryan's Stuff&.view=l

GD2 actually started out as just an FWD drifting experiment. I put together the Teg footage in the beginning, then I found that Angel Dust song and thought it fit well with the footage. So I just put in other RWD drifts I had in order to fill out the song. Ended up calling it GD2 by the time I was done. ;) I don't remember hitting a cone, and most of the off-track excursions were with the majority ofthe car still on the racing surface... gotta use all the track. ;)

Holy ****, so much for Grand Dorifto or Drift Epiphany... wow, that drift competition(Car Surfin) was the best thing I've seen here. Now I'm going to start practicing a lot everyday
Cudaman
You 'da man.

thats what I say, but every1 is always like "you went off the track, you went off the track, your wheel WENT OFF THE TRACK" and I ahte it, so I learned to just stay in control and keep all my wheels either on the track or on a rumble pad a little. I dunno what all these people are smokin saying this vid is as good as GD1 or 2, u get some mad angles I can get but usually dont in those vids, and I am sure you are much better than I am by now. You're like the original bro. Every1 here these days is so focused on who the best is. This place has become a testesterone bath for the glory hungry imo. I love GT3 drifting, its great, especially since I cant get sideways irl yet. I dont play alot, but i do try and get better, now for anyone here, not to be the best, but simply to improve and be the best that I can be. I'm not in a rush, and I dont care who out there is better than me, because for me, it aint about that, its about doing the best that I can be.

GD1 was the reason I got GT3 in the first place. A friend sent it to me one day, and I was completely blown away, I was like 'HELL YAH, I wanna do THAT!" I had been messing around with drifting in GT2 for about a week with a setup a friend gave me (11 camber front 6 back, normal tires front, sims back, crazy stuff). Being the broke-ass person that I am, I had to work my ass off for 6 months doing little jobs here and there just to earn the money to buy a PS2 and GT3 off EBAY. When I get it I did my best to bust out drifting, but I never could, and I never thought of looking on the net for settings (and for sure my GT2 settings werent working, lol), so after a few days I just gave up. Then about a month or so ago, I found the drift settings thread here, and started trying and, and I been doin my best to learn drifting in GT3 in my spare time since. So if it wasnt for you, I wouldnt even be here right now (hope that doesnt get you attacked o_0)

Ethix: I'm trying to get them to drop it, not argue.

My friend let me borrow Initial D second stage imported with english subtitles(anybody whos seen the dubbed understands why this is important).. From there I got into GT2 and started drifting and got a PS2 and gt3 in december(not christmas). Gran Dorifto pushed me over the edge, but it was Initial D that got me into drift and back into Gran Turismo series.

---Edit---
Oh and, well said Bryan C.

yes, I think the world revolves around me in case you were wondering.

YEAH!

Fight The Power!

I'm more of a inside-the-drift drifter, everyone wants to touch the Apex and hug the outside line, well, I like the inside, and no matter what anyone says, I'm going to stay on the inside.

A JEAH!

well I'm taking a break from GT3 drifting for the moment, and working on my real car so.... prolly a while.
