hey connery i have to say id much rather see a real drift video of you and your 86 then a gt3 one take all the time you need man i gotta see the side of that 86 :) bro you rock!
 
my real ae86 is far from being able to go sideways bro, but when its ready, be sure that you will get plenty of vids of it.
 
Downloaded it, watched it, enjoyed it. Maybe a wall tap was in there, maybe the car/tire noises would have been better edited out, but I really enjoyed the style, and the credits bit at the end was very cool idea. ^^

I'll take that as a compliment, but I'm not here to battle anybody, ever. I'm just here to improve my skill as much as I can, not get caught up in the testerone battles of "who's the best" bs that every1 seems to be having lately.

omfg bryan thats really awesome loves your chaser it remains ne to the ken nomura style xcelent job m8 ...& for the gtr lm road car also good but falling in loves with your chaser ... great 4.9/5....;)
 
the chaser is by far my favorite drift car in the game atm :) But I'm quickly falling in love with my 180hp sport tuned 86 tuned after Ueo's car ;)
 
Good vid. You linked the corners well, and just to annoy you, you did hit the wall in the tunnel SS5. The line of the car changed too dramatically after it 'came close' to the wall to have not hit it. Congratulations at becoming natural at drifting. Is it just me or do these vids kinda seem teh same after a while? It's feeling like you've seen one car go sideways you've seen them all. I think the enthusiasm for creating drift vids will plateau until GT4 comes out where ppl will make vids of themselves drifting against other ppl.

BTW, my favorite car right now is also the 180hp 86, but I haven't really been drifting that much lately. Have you tuned up your car? B/c my 86 is fairly difficult to control and I think different settings will fix it and I hate tuning cars :)
 
Nice video, great editing, good quality capture, nice drifts. Only thing I can be picky about is that in one shot from the inside view where you have your instruments showing, you have traction control on, do you do all your drifts with TCS on? and what level do you have it set at? Personally whether drifting or racing the first thing i change on all my cars is to turn off TCS and ASM off (i got all the traction control I will ever need under my right thumb and right foot!! IRL as well). I learnt drifting on GT3 before I saw that anyone else was doing it, just watched some Best Motoring and some drift vids from Japan and got inspired, I will post a clip of my drifts when I get some of my replays captured.

Anyway congrats on a great vid, hope mine is as good.
 
The Prime: Yes, I have done alot of tuning to the settings of my 86, however I'm not giving them out to anybody (per my norm, I dont usually give my settings out)


Sanpaku: no I dont always use TCS, its dependent upon how much hp the car has, its weight, handling, and alot of other factors, but it I do have it on its never above 1.
 
Nice drift, nice angle, great quality! I like your chaser drifting. SO nice! And... How do you drift with your "Nissan Concept Z" ? I saw u let the gas and after you press maximum for not understeering your car. I have a lot of trouble with my Nissan Z.
 
the 350 is a bit tricky, its alot heavier (or maybe its lighter), but whatever it is, it sticks to the ground like hellfire, so you gotta come into corners alot faster and with alot of balls, even on sims with some kick ass power, it just wants to go wherever you aim the danged thing, so just try and keep it more sideways + more speed and just learn to control it.
